Exciting. Some friends and I are playing a similar format. Was wondering if you do deck requests? Been wanting to brainstorm a Dark Weezing deck utilizing cards like pokemon fan club but not sure how solid it might be
@PapaJumpluffКүн бұрын
We have seen Dark Weezing decks pop-up. Just haven't had a chance to get a deck profile on camera. It's a solid, aggressive deck especially in tandem with Metal Energy and Brock's Rhydon

This video premise is incredibly stupid and I love it. This deck looks monstrous and I'm floored it operates on just 16 energy, but I suppose having four Cleffa helps immensely in that regard.
@PapaJumpluff6 күн бұрын
Cleffa definitely helps. EXP.ALL and Recycle energy are a big part of it since they work together to immediately energize the next Haunter. There are games where I have energy just sitting in hand because I don't need to attach and would rather hold them up in case my opponent uses Energy Removal on a Psychic energy attached to Haunter. It's also great if your opponent knocks out Cleffa (with psychic energy attached) and you get to transfer the energy to your benched Haunter off of the Cleffa.

Do you guys considered the buried fossil as one of the 20 trainers?
@PapaJumpluff18 күн бұрын
Buried Fossil from Skyridge is a basic Pokemon. If you are referring to Mysterious Fossil from Fossil, then yes. It is a trainer.

I saw a Ho-oh and I couldn't be happier.
@PapaJumpluff19 күн бұрын
Ho-oh has proven to be a very strong contender. 90HP is very high for a basic Pokemon in this format.

i would love to play classic decks if it wasnt so expensive and hard to find
@PapaJumpluff19 күн бұрын
Printing out proxies is totally valid. When you think about it, there aren't really any stores holding local events so it is unregulated. Our LGS supports it because it is where the format started. There are also some great mods for Tabletop Simulator if you have friends that want to play on that platform.
@Charmaster046 күн бұрын
If you want to play official classic Pokémon formats instead of WoTC-20, I would suggest a website called tcg one over tabletop simulator. There are lots of people on that site who regularly play Pokémon's older formats, meaning you don't even need to have friends who are interested, and it's completely free. (It's also automated like PTCGO and PTCGL, so no cheating.) People even host tournaments with prizing on tcg one!

This is the reply from the ZapZor player: The faux leather one I made. It's a travel beauty kit that had like tweezers and nail clippers. I gutted it and lined it. I've had that for no joke like 15 years. The white one is an official pokemon dice holder. There's similar ones but without the center divider on pokemoncenter.com.

wow que mazo raro. Nunca habia visto un mazo con piloswine en el formato base-neo. Porque pusiste a piloswine en tu mazo?
@PapaJumpluff3 ай бұрын
Piloswine es ideal para cubrir la debilidad de Forretress. Algunos mazos de acero utilizan otros Pokémon de tipo agua por ese motivo. Dark Blastoise Steelix, por ejemplo.
