Thanks so much for posting, eventually came across this in 2024 because of the jazz show with the Zig Zag Power Trio which I also knew nothing about. Feel so fortunate to hear this!

Was there all three nights, my ticket stubs are dated 3-19, 3-20 & 3-21. Talked to Tony every evening too, he was very gracious too to all the young drummers there.

Imagine a super intelligent extra terrestrial super musical being. Producing music so alien to our ears the music takes some getting used to. Like learning a new musical language. How on could an earthling possibly produce something that fits this description? Incredible imagination & boldly daring to go where no other person had been before. Endless experimenting & an instinct for building compositions from what's found both experimentally & in their mind's ear.

My favorite era and band of Miles with my guys Foley and Kenny Garrett (87-91). Often overlooked unfortunately. This is Foley's tune.

Been searching for the song 26:23 for years!!! I had it on tape ( back in the days) it got lost, and ive been searching for this particular George Adams/ Pullen piece. Finally got it. Way back in the 90's and I'm just now meeting up back with this great tune.

Chick just posted on his KZbin. Hey man. He played a lot for us before he died. He would keep playing "Spain." damn, I hate that song. I might learn it because I have to. Just don't like that song. Not my style. So hard though.

Am avut vinilul și mi -a plăcut foarte mult. Înainte de 89 în Arad. Nu înțelegeam versurile dar un coleg de serviciu magiar mi le -a tradus. Limbajul muzicii e universal și nu a fost o problemă.❤

I got excited as If correctly timed, this might be the longest "In A Silent Way" I've heard in the later era. Alas, it to quickly becomes something else immediately following the introduction of the theme. Thanks for sharing this, it's one I didn't have.
