I’m delighted and truly hope Jimmy is doing well. I love how the student is playing and enjoying the moment, though it feels like he is more eager to see and hear Jimmy perform the song himself. It’s mesmerizing how Jimmy embraces everything happening around him, showing us that improvisation is simply a state of mind. An incredible video-thank you so much!

Fondest regards from Clearwater Florida. The Master guitarist is also a master teacher. I love how Jimmy is watching the student and doesn’t need to look at his own playing. I love it

Jimmy recorded this wonderful song many years ago on one of his albums. That recording is one of the best solos in jazz history. Right up there with the very best solos regardless of instrument.

Eh???you compare joschi with jimmy the.phenomenon?joschp is much inferior musician and he plays all the same with no gypsy style.please workmon your ears .he plays it slow because of gge young child.think before you are saying these rabish
@KimchiSpringRoll3 ай бұрын
@@kostas9216 Maybe before you make any judgement learn to spell first. Like it or not Joscho's right hand technique is one of the best in the game and that's approved by people like Stochelo and Bireli, just cuz you enjoy the old style of hotclub doesn't mean your understanding of the music is everything. The comment has a point this is slower than the usual tempo this song is played in and i believe even Jimmy himself plays this tune faster than this normally, he's just playing it slow cuz he is playing with the kid.

Good composition and fine impro's from you both. Tip: if you ever record this tune, let that intro-part continue ( only)under the theme. Beautiful melody by the way.

I like Stochelo's tone with that magnetic pickup. Still sounds like a manouche guitar, but it has the mellowness of an electric archtop.
