Hi, I have been watching your videos from so many days and now I am planning to start my home daycare. I have few questions 1. Do I need only electric stove to pass the inspection? Or gas stove is fine? 2. Do I need backyard space and play area setup Before inspection guy come visit ?

Daycare providers and directors don’t care about the children. It’s just about the money

My job is extremely toxic and lack on communication. My director is very toxic. She gossips about other staff, and staff gossips about each other. And the director would talk bad about the kids saying that these kids are driving me crazy. And she’s only there for a paycheck. She doesn’t engage with the families because she’s always tired. I’ve noticed a co worker always grabbing the kids aggressively. And nothing was being done about it. Some people aren’t passion about working with kids, it’s only about the money.

Everything you said in your video is 💯 percent facts. Safety: Check for covered outlets, fire extinguishers, smoke alarms, first-aid kits, locked cabinets, and age-appropriate toys. • Emergency plans: Ask about procedures for fire, earthquake, power outages, and severe weather, including practice drills. • Staff-to-child ratio: Ensure the number of caregivers is adequate for the number of children present. • Communication: Look for a daycare that readily communicates with parents about their child's day, including meals, naps, and activities. • Curriculum and activities: Investigate the educational program offered and if activities are age-appropriate and stimulating. • Sickness policy: Understand the daycare's protocols for handling sick children and when to keep your child home. • Staff qualifications: Ask about caregiver training and experience. • Open door policy: Inquire about the ability to visit your child during the day. • Nutrition: Ask about meal plans and if dietary needs can be accommodated. • • Hygiene practices: Ensure the daycare has proper handwashing and cleaning procedures. • Outdoor play: Check for safe outdoor play areas. • Positive environment: Observe the interactions between staff and children to gauge the overall atmosphere.

I had a teacher singing an appropriate song to a child, and the child was literally singing the song. I had a teacher working with me was constantly on her phone. And I work with a teacher that constantly screams at the kids, and called one child dumb. I feel like most teachers aren’t equip to work with children, or care for children whatsoever, don’t care about the children, and it’s only for a paycheck. When parents apply for a daycare for their child. They must read the reviews and what the company is about. And how teachers care for the kids. And that goes for the teachers that are applying to work as a teacher at a daycare. It’s important to see how teachers interact, and engaging with the children. Also my director is very secretive and doesn’t tell me what is going on.

Hello, I’m a teacher assistant/floater working with 2 year old children. I do circle time and read to the kids everyday. Some of them are more engaged during circle time and reading. However, my students have very short attention span, especially when they just turn 2.

My first time watching your video. I’m also a teacher assistant/floater working with 2 year old children. And in college online working on my masters degree in early childhood education. Yes, dramatic play does help kids with problem solving skills. And also with engagement, and fine motor skills.
