How you felt at Keith Green's house is kinda how I felt about you and Carl T, when you two walked into our guitar class at Anaheim Vineyard and started showing us how to hold a guitar and different strum patterns. The song was Psalm 9, easy chords but not when you never held a guitar before. That act has stuck with me all these yrs, thank you for just being an example of keeping things simple yet worshipful.

I just heard Andy say that the volume of Vineyard worship has decreased over the last 25 yrs, I have noticed that the songs that are coming out now from Vineyard aren't written the same way it was 25 yrs ago, the early songs of the Vineyard many times were just simple verses with a simple melody put to it, easy to follow, easy to learn, and the Lord will always honor His word. What is coming out today from VMG lacks the intimacy of the early yrs, seems to be about God were before it was more to the Lord. I also notice that when a older song is redone, the views on KZbin are a lot higher than the views of some of the newer ones. If you mention this to someone, it is easy for them so assume that you are old wine skin and not in touch with what the Lord is doing now, they might be right in some respect, but I don't think I'm to off in what I see and how I feel. The early songs were packed with theology, it was like singing a sermon that was breathed by the Holy Spirit Himself. Just my take

Love and respect Andy, saw him lead worship many many times in Anaheim. Took several guitar/worship classes with him back in the 90s, very very precious jewels that I learned and still use to this day. Very humble man, a true servant.

Andy, I love this song. I cannot find the chords anywhere. Sounds like a dropped D. Is there somewhere I can get the chords as I am planning to play it at Mass in a few weeks.
