Graduated licensing is ridiculous. Fortunately, we don't have it in GA as it relates to motorcycles. We do, however, have it when it comes to cars (age based). I grew up in NJ, and they have some very strange regulations. I got my first motorcycle and motorcycle license there. Part of my permit restrictions was I that I had to be accompanied by a licensed rider whenever I was on my bike; the person couldn't be on the bike with me, but had to be next to me.

One company after another is making this mistake! You would think they would wise up! 🤜🏻💥🤛🏻

I think the biggest problem is they're pricing out so many people. It seems like they want to bring in younger riders, but they can't afford a $25k bike.

That was a hell of a day! But it started us riding all over. We still have a lot of states to ride to!

Your video is the first I have watched about it - I googled it last night, just to figure out WTF everyone was yammering about. I really don't pay attention to alot of things. You present an interesting premise - but, I think there is a bit more to it than that. This is also a publicity stunt. Keep in mind - CEOs get huge buyout packages - so, you think there might be an internal faction trying to get him ousted - I counterpoint he could be angling his way out with the golden handshake, and everyone is working on it together with whatever catches the most attention. But, big picture - Drama causes press and attention. What do large corporations want these days....... attention. People won't remember next week what the drama was about(attention spans of a drunk monkey), they will just move on to the next drama-du-jour. Just my 2 cents - as a non-HD rider that really, doesn't pay much attention to the attention whore actions of companies.

Maryland doesn't have any restrictions. Take it on a tiny bike, buy big Harley, go ride and have fun. I don't recommend DOING THAT, of course, but you do you, boo.

Dang, we had more than one of the same bikes back in the day. I know a while back you said you used to have a 600R, as did I. My first bike was a V-Star 650 Classic. Like you, I never took the MSF course. I “rode dirty” (I’m not condoning that, but telling the truth of my history) about a year before I took the written test and riding test in the same day at Texas DPS. Of course it was 23 years ago when I got my license. From what I can tell, Texas now has a 250cc limit for 15 year olds, but once they turn 16 that is removed. My understanding is that Texas now requires all new applicants for a motorcycle endorsement to complete an MSF course. P.S. I wish filtering was legal in Texas, but I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t want to do it on a Road Glide. 😆
