i guess one of the questions is... a little shame not to be able to see that cool looking waterlcooled inside though some window but... i guess that is too compromising to the supercool and superpremium case design... i'm thinking about doing something similar myself and i'm wondering about putting some big grid in the front panel area without fans attached, for see-through purposes... great built sir, that case requires a neat and elegant respect :D ... ah, a second silly thing i'm wondering is: are the power supply voltages incompatible with the ATX ones ? cause maybe it could be possible to just replace the connectors and use it for a pc system ?

How do you like this case? Is there a reason to go from the H500P Mesh to the H500M
@leowtech21652 жыл бұрын
It's pretty much down to the looks, fans and RGB. Provided you avoid the original H500P - which was dreadful - then you have an ipen choice between the other versions of H500.
@yoadknux2 жыл бұрын
@@leowtech2165 Thanks Leo. May I please ask one more question - How well does the H500M compare with the Fractal Torrent? As far as I see, the Torrent has better GPU thermals, while the H500M has better AIO compatibility (such as top exhaust). May I hear your opinion?

I have a similar build here that i need to get around to finishing. At the moment it has a 240mm CLC in it, but since the pump is the highest point when the door is closed, taht will have to change. Nevertheless, i can offer some advice for others who try this. 1. i did it with a G4 MDD. It is doable with the steps on the LH page but hard for casuals at home. The drive doors aren't going to be usable due to space constraints anyway unless you go with tiny hardware. 2. mATX totally fits in these, even with a radiator. Yes, you can even use the lowermost slot and all the plugs down there. My rad is lined up with the bottom of the mainboard. When the door is closed the fans on the radiator lie perfectly flat on the very bottom of the case. 3. i took out the bottom of the case to the dimensions of two 120mm fans. Maximum airflow, no vibration and even if you stare at it (mine sits on a shelf so yes, the fans are slightly visible) it isn't ugly. 4. You can fit all the cables through the door, so that the thing can be opened up while running. You need extensions and potentially long SATA cables, but it is perfectly doable. This party trick is why i wanted one in the first place!

hi leow I'm trying to make a similar setting is my first PC but in my motherboard I have a 3.2 gen 1 usb port and a 3.2 gen1 type C port, do you think they are compatible with the 3.0 and 3.1 gen 2 of the h500m? congratulations for your work is fantastic PC.

Hi! My h500m has top fans and front fans. When I press the reset button on the front panel only the top fans change? And on the masterplus it says no compatible devices? Please help!
@leowtech21653 жыл бұрын
AFAIK the various models of H500 come with two front 200mm RGB fans and no top fans. The 5V ARGB versions use a small controller board, so have you added two more fans to that controller or is the RGB in the top fans controlled by your motherboard?
@durrrrburger3 жыл бұрын
@@leowtech2165 the top fans are controlled by my motherboard. Pretty sure what I need is the reset sw cord and to plug it in to the controller
@leowtech21653 жыл бұрын
@@durrrrburger If the front fans are controlled by the Cooler Master controller board near the power supply, I would have thought it would be those fans that change with the reset button, rather than the top fans. Personally I don't like the Cooler Master controller and disconnected it, which is why I used the set-up you saw in the video. When you add up all the RGB fans plus other RGB hardware you end up needing a proper control unit or a couple of 3-way RGB splitters and it really helps if your motherboard can control both 12V and 5V RGB.

These tower G4s (including the later silver ones) were the last ones in which you could put a pc inside; beginning with the "grater" tower MacPros the section for the PSU is a narrow tunnel at the lower bottom of the case, which leaves absolutely no way to include a industry standard ATX PSU

Was it easy to get the power button to work? I have a G3. The power button seemed to be linked to a mini controller. I was thinking I would have to hack a atx case button behind the mac one, so when you pressed the mac power button it would depress the hacked atx button
