Some of this music is soundtrack music score. "The Christmas Tree" was in a 1959 TV special.

These records were originally released in 1952. They were re-released in stereo in 1958, once the 45-45 degree modulation method was decided upon throughout the industry.

CKLW-TV, Channel 9 (now CBET-TV) in Windsor, Ontario/Detroit used this piece as the opening and closing music for their "Million Dollar Movie" show in the mid-to-late 60's.

As a young man of 15 years, I feel exactly the same. It's interesting how, despite the generational gap, some of the younger generation fosters an interest towards the joys of long gone times, despite never experiencing the past. Even more interesting is how I am still in my childhood, and I am still having experiences and making memories. Someday I will be aged and I might never remember what I am doing now!

The overture of Gypsy os spectacular. Every song a classic. And the way it sort of transitions into the stiry gives me chills. Classic AMERICAN music.
