Great video! I love the Real Turmatt meals - expensive but you get what you pay for (I like the Tikka Masala as I am a softie). Your timelapses are superb. My last camp was a similar temperature, and I learnt a lot! Looking forward to your Brecon Beacons camp! Yes, a little bit more vertical than Dartmoor!

Brilliant. We met you up at High Wilhays and had a bit of a chat on our way back from our day out (and our pot noodles on the banks of the West Okement for our lunch, only way to go, but not sure about the Bombay Bad boy 😂). Good to see you had a good night, the views from up there are just amazing. Am looking forward to getting out camping again but might just wait until it's a tad warmer 😁

Great camp mate, enjoyed watching. When we were on Fur Tor, I thought Pat’s coat was orange, but in comparison to his trowel, I’ll go with red - I know it looks a lot brighter IRL than on the video.

What's the ventilation like? I've found a few reviews and that seems to be it's biggest drawback, and suffers from condensation.

I had a little inside the vestibule on my last camp in it (last camp of the year video) but nothing horrendous, as long as you have the vents open at the front and back, you should be ok, there’s a decent gap between the inner and the fly sheet too so that helps Thanks for watching :) Stu

Honestly, just Go for it! Film everything and anything you can, download it once you’re home and filter out the less interesting bits, watch it back as someone who’s just found your channel and whittle it all down again to no more than 30 mins, most importantly, have fun! @@ValleyCampers no worries, ill check it out :) i use CapCut for shorts & DaVinci resolve for my main vids, theres a paid version of DaVinci but i just use the free one for now, it CAN be a bit daunting at first but theres plenty of tuorials on youtube to learn the basics. how much time is entirely up to you really, i just hack away at it and edit until im happy putting it out, best of luck! :) Stu

I have the Robens Voyager 2ex, which I bought because I wasn't ready to spend Hilleberg money yet on the Nammatj 2GT. I've seen on the Hilleberg Facebook group these two tents in a snowy mountain scene photo together, and the guy said the Robens performed just as well as the Hilly. I had the Robens Starlight 2 first and well impressed so went for the limousine version Voyager after. Best value for money tents on the market as far as I can see, especially with the waterproof ratings. 5000 fly and 10,000 floor on mine.

@@lntkernow Hilleberg is the bucket list tent. I like the Tarra for bad weather/winter camping, the strongest of them all. My Voyager cancels out the Nammatj so my second option would be the Staika. Also like the KUIU Storm Star you see a lot now on here. My recommendation for a water filter would be the Grayl Geopress. Expensive but well worth the investment.

great question mate =] i usually sleep in my down trousers and a lightweight fleece jumper/thermal top, however i slept in my down jacket as i was shattered from the walk in on this camp as fell asleep pretty early, i think im gonna get some merino base layers for winter and should be just fine with the ascent 900 thanks for watching :) Stu
