I prefer Gene's evil grin over his scowling. 🙂 Dynasty was the last album i bought from Kiss. I don't care if you puke a mountain of blood or how much fire you spit. You gotta have the songs to go along with that stuff. Tossing and Turning? You might as well sing Somewhere over the rainbow too...

It's strange, gene and Paul complained about Ace and Peter playing bad this tour. It seems to be Paul making the bigger flubs in this concert. Sounds like Paul is trying to speed the songs up Ace and Peter are playing Just fine. Paul's banter between songs sounds so fake. Gene messing up the lyrics to God of thunder.

I saw this in Huntington West Virginia in September 1979 Judaa Priest opened. Dynasty Tour. Tickets were $10. No BS. That's a lot of money in the 70's. They're were 11,000 people in the Civic Center that Fit 9,500. It was magical watching as a 7 year old boy. That's me.

I remember my ticket was $8.50 because my ex stepdad gave me all of his beer cans so I could go and it was on October 4th.,1979, in Desmoines, Ia. Pope Jean Paul was in town the same day and the traffic waaaaaas.thick. I was 13 and trippin' over seeing my heroes. Good times.

Why does Paul say that Peter played the songs too slow when this tempo is faster than they’ve played them for about 20 years? There is more energy and pace here than in the pathetic End of The Road special that’s for sure

I saw them on this tour in Austin back in August 2000. First time was January 1984 in Austin during the Lick It Up Tour. Finally saw them a third time last Sunday October 29 2023 in Austin! All 3 versions of the band rocked!!

The VHS copy I got years ago from KISS collector is better quality and full show. Can't find decent DVD quality version. I loved the live version of the solo album songs on here. I wish Ace had done Rip it OUT!

Cool! Kiss is a great first time concert imo. They were mine too, although my mom took me to see Elvis before Kiss. I saw the Love Gun tour in Washington at the Spokane Coliseum in 77. It was pretty amazing for a 10 year old! Thanks Mom!!

Its too bad they self destructed after this tour. Peter leaves they release Unmasked and the Elder and then Ace leaves and then they remove the make up and nobody cares.

I can understand why I saw them many times on this tour and some nights clearly they were not playing great or getting along and saw some yelling on stage which was disturbing at the time.

I would love to see a video of the September 14, 1979 show in Cincinnati.. I have never been able to find it, not sure it even exists! It was one of few concerts I ever attended!
