I remember seeing people go up to that "trail" while i worked there for the end of the season......its out of the boundaries of the resort. when you get off the gondola there are signs that say to ski it at your own risk its out of bounds of the resort but i think ski patrol might be able to get you if needed

Painful. We get amazing days & big average snowfalls in the "snow corner" of VT. This was terrible. Also, use those pole straps(provided you do it correctly to avoid hand/arm injuries). Still, props for getting out there & earning your turns. ✌🏽

Western skier here. Thoroughly sick of creamy powder, knee deep, caressing your skis as you turn effortlessly in the fall line. This is much more invigorating.

Treeline on Mansfield is about 4,050'. Treeline at 69 degrees North latitude in Norway is about 1,600'. Treeline in the Himalayas is about 13,500'. Treeline has varying elevation based on multiple factors.

ahah i rode February 28/29 when we got 35 inches in 48 hours. this is on march 3rd, as i remember, the snow changed so quickly that week. was spring skiing the week after. i took a video on my ascent to the peak and it was a completely different experience, mansfield can be brutal with wind
