Power management reset: Don't start the engine. Just turn press start-stop once. Then 5x light flashing handle Then 3x clutch/break pedal. The battery icon will flash shortly within 10 seconds. For manual gear cars, use break pedal

Thanks for the vid pal, was really useful. Some things I experienced on my 2020 S-max and might be useful to you out there: You do not need to disconnect the cable that goes to the air filter box, just remove the cover, snap out the bottom parts and turn it upside down, it will sit on the plastic cover just fine. Also you can just pull out the cable ties, no need to cut them, just snap them back in once your are done. Did it in 20 minutes and I am no handy man, good luck! :)

Never had to do this yet, but I don't get it why they made it so difficoult to change the battery. It's just a pain in the ass ;p

Very helpful video! It was -25C when I changed the battery so I was afraid I would break some of the plastic parts because I wasn't sure how the filter housing would come off. And there`s certainly not too much space for the battery either. Broke some wire cover hoses and clips in the process...

I just had my battery fail last night, display went dead and no speedo after saying battery low and lost power steering too making it very difficult to drive home. Luckily only 3 miles. The engine was running so that proves the alternator is working and it's just a dead battery (7 yrs old). Ordered a new one and took out the old one within 10 mins thanks to your great video, thanks ever so much!! Hopefully all is well once I put the new battery in and reset the BMS, fingers crossed!!

Wow thank you for your video. Have just purchased a 2018 Galaxy and have the same issue as there is no mention of spare wheel changing in the manual. Funny this as there is a read manual indicater in the boot where you undo the top nut. You had the 'luxury' of doing this with the car in the air, I have just done it lying in my drive. What a fag as I reckon you would need to carry a pair of overalls in the car. Also assume you put back the punctured full tyre in the same place. That is going to be heavy. Now I need to find where the jacking points are, as there is no mention of that in the manual. Surely Ford could have design it somehow so the spare wheel is under the rear seats in the boot.

Evohome is great but Honeywell have really failed customers in keeping the software up to date and adding features. They’ve essentially left the system to rot and it now lags way behind newer systems. The security system is a joke, it is in no way secure as it uses a tag system. All in all, it’s a good concept; I’ve been using it for 5 or 6 years so it was state of the art when I bought it but nowadays I wouldn’t touch it with a bargepole.

thanks for the video tip! I just purchased this buggy, Didn't come with actual charging plug though as some do. How long does a full charge normally take you? I was worried with the gap between the body & chassis, quite a huge gap with motor exposed.

Can i charge the batteries with cable of the motor&batteries still connected? Or do i have to take apart every time i charge?
