Hi, I know this is an old video but hoping you can help me. I just got the baby lock spirit and my certification kit is checked, all is good there. I'm wondering how do you use that 8x12 hoop? Will it just recognize that a large design is made for that hoop and pop up automatically? Im playing around with a smaller design/hoop and I dont see where to select the 8x12. I'm upgrading from a smaller Brother so on that one, you had to select which hoop size you were using & this one seems to be different

Maybe u should try putting in different squeaker toys in there. Maybe her squeaker toys. Or maybe it’s harder to make the squirrels squeak. My dog has a plush mushroom puzzle but it’s too thick for her to be able to squeak the mushrooms. I guess her mouth is too small. But she still loves playing with the puzzle because she likes pulling out the mushrooms so she can get the do treats underneath. Maybe u should try finding a way to put dog treats in there

This is what I am wondering about with my dog. If it is food, he would be all in for it. Not sure about stuffed squirrels though. I guess i can get it off Amazon and if he isn't interested, always send it back.

When you started row two, you did the stitch after the single crochet with a yarn over. Were you supposed to do that ?

My dog would be exactly like yours I'm afraid, only 2 years old. I did wonder if it would be different if I'd put treats behind the squirrels. Then again I'm not sure the toy allows treats to be tucked behind without simply dropping out if a dog shoves it a bit. Any thought on this?

Wasn't sure I was going to make the whole outfit but once I made the hat and it came out so superb, I just had to continue. I made 6 hats so far in different yarns and colors and am making matching skirts and bandannas. Think I will make vests mostly the same and ... oh I don't know about the boots. Definitely want some red glitter boots. Oh what fun this is and I wasn't expecting it. Thanks.

Bought this machine in December 2018, and paid a little more. As far as I know I paid the list price, no special sale on it. None of the BabyLock retailers carried this machine. One retailer had a trade in that was bought but not taken home, yet, so I got a chance to see and try it before buying. It helped a lot. I also got two free classes on it, which also helped a lot. But the manual is so well written, I continue to refer to it when I have a question. My main problem is hooping the fabric. I made a number of onesies for my very tiny grandchildren. They were definitely a challenge, but came out fine. I tried embroidering towels for Halloween. Two came out great. The other two didn’t. The machine works great, but for some reason, BabyLock does not have much in the way of tutorials for it. It feels like the Spirit is a little orphan that they try and ignore. Even getting support from BabyLock for this machine hasn’t worked so great. It is very frustrating, so many thanks for posting this video. I just found your channel. I also have a sewing cabinet I may use for this machine. Like you, it will go on top of the closed cabinet. I just need to measure it. Again, thanks.

Like the pattern my head does not fit my dolls head because she has a lot of hair do I go up a couple of sizes on the hook or do I make more rounds

Thank you so much! I use a mac, so see i'll need to have a pc for my upgrade to work. I am wondering if the embroidery upgrade works on pc operating systems in 2020. My gut feeling was to sell the upgrade instead of trying to install it 2 years later. Your video has inspired me to try to go ahead and buy a cheap pc.
