As a ferroequinologist, that steam train they showed was a Santa Fe 3000-Class 2-10-10-2. It was the longest steam engine built at the time, and was comparable to the Big Boy in length. It was actually a rate locomotive, was not very successful, and none survive today.

The easiest job in Wannado City must have been weatherman. "And now this week's weather forecast and I am predicting a 100% chance of no weather at all." The only forecast that's right every... single... time. Seriously though, you were lucky. There were no kid-cities of any kind in my day, at least not where I lived, I never even heard of them until recently. The closest I ever got was a children's museum called Eureka that had a pretend post office where you could deliver fake mail (or post as we call it across the pond) around the museum. Out of curiosity, did they send camera-kids to film footage for these stories or was it just stock used everytime? And by any chance, does this recent post have anything to do with Defunctland's recent documentary on kid-cities?

That’s Daniel Craig’s Quantum of Solace pose in The Licence To Kill Gunbarrel.
He's actually way cooler in every season before this one.

I can listen to this all day. It brings back the most incredible memory of being a kid in the mid 60's. Friday night, a bowl of ice cream and my little 8 year old brain fantasizing about that gorgeous hunk of woman, Mrs Peel. (Diana Rigg).

This is so rarely heard. And NOW you can hear how Laurie Johnson adapted the motif we all know in his version from this! I never realised!

Thank you for posting this very quirky music that appeared in the tag scenes in the early colour episodes of The Avengers. Mrs Peel You're Needed.
