Kid, this was in 1994. Punk died in the mid 80’s when The Clash broke up. You know, The Clash… a fucking real punk rock band before pop punk Green Day. The Stooges. MC5. Ramones. The Clash. Sex Pistols. Wire. Buzzcocks. The Germs. The Damned. Black Flag. Dead Boys. Voidoids. Bad Brains. Dead Kennedy’s… just a few off the top of my head. Green Day is not punk. They are pop punk. Big difference.

Green Day’s Woodstock '94 performance was a colossal train wreck. It was less a memorable rock moment and more a cringeworthy display of immature antics and noise. The mud fight was a pathetic, attention-seeking stunt that only underscored their lack of real talent and substance. Their set was a chaotic mess, revealing their true colors as a band with more hype than actual skill. It’s no wonder their performance is remembered as a glaring example of punk's empty facade.

I could’ve gone. I was 20 years old and a bunch of friends of mine went. I can tell you one thing though none of the people I know that went had a good time. They were all fucking miserable for days wet cold dirty hungry. Even looking back and none of them are very fond of the experience and hardly any remember enjoying the music.

That's insane. It's so easy to just watch the video and think "wow this must have been fun". That being said, I would not have had a good time either if I had gotten stuck in the middle of this mud fight.

I know this is 2 Months old.. But this is an old song by Thomas Bangalter on the album Roulé. The same guy who is one half of Daft Punk. If you look up the album on youtube youll find it eventually on there by going through them. Hope this helps.
