Hey I enjoy your watching your videos because of how clear and simply you explain the units. Would you consider recording some video lessons for sequence and series? It’s the only one you haven’t done and i’m sure many of us would benefit from it

Hi, what is the software you are using? thanks.
@AllAroundMathGuyАй бұрын
It’s called Geogebra, dynamic geometry/algebra software that lets you both work with things algebraically and graphically, as well as add things geometrically. It’s free to use online or download.

Hi, I am wondering what software are you using to animation of the point on the unit circle and the resulting tan graph?
@AllAroundMathGuy2 ай бұрын
It's Geogebra - geometry/algebra software that's available free to download or use online. I did have to create the coordinated dynamic graph and unit circle though.

Thank you so much for this video! One thing I'm confused about is for example in the question "Given f(x) = √(x-2), reflect across y axis, move 3 units to the right" If we reflect first then move, we get √(-x+1). If we move first then reflect, we get √(-x-5). Which one is the correct answer? I understand that the order matters when you have a transformed function and want to find out how it's come from. But does it matter when you're combine-transforming a function? Or are both √(-x+1) and √(-x-5) correct?
@analpaca47662 ай бұрын
unless im missing something i dont belive you factored x^2 minus 2x minus 8 correctly. x would equal -4 and 2, not the other way around

Cos theta = ADJACENT over HYPOTENUSE Sin theta = OPOOSITE over HYPOTENUSE

The question about having an exactly 1 vowel in the combinations.. say if first letter is A, the other two consonants will be 4P2 = 12, right? Also, there are three choices of vowels (A,O,E). Also, the vowel can be moved to any of the three positions in the combination. then, I get 12x3x3=108. GPT did differently and says the following: "To form 3-letter combinations with exactly one vowel from the word "LACTOSE", let’s first separate the vowels and consonants: Vowels: A, O, E Consonants: L, C, T, S Steps to Form the Combinations: Choose 1 vowel out of the 3 vowels = 3 ways to do this. Choose 2 consonants out of the 4 consonants. There are 6 ways to do this. Combine these choices: For each choice of 1 vowel and 2 consonants, we can arrange the 3 letters in 3! = 6 ways. Calculating the Total Combinations: The total number of 3-letter combinations is: 3×6×6=108 So, there are 108 possible 3-letter combinations that include exactly one vowel from the word "LACTOSE." Thank you for your wonderful lectures by the way! Let me know what you think :)

Switched from 3x9 Deore XT to 1x Advent X. Something wasn’t spot on, catastrophic chain drop, bent derailleur, damaged casette and no way to get it right anymore. Wasted money on this 1x. Lesson is, old premium is better than budget new and, don’t follow the trends just to follow the trends
@AllAroundMathGuy3 ай бұрын
Totally agree to not follow trends just to follow trends! This video was mainly to look at the numbers behind 1x vs 3x, not lobbying for one way or the other. My change to 1x was because it made sense for how I use this bike. 🙂
