I know your Dad is still grieving over Sherpa and liking the time to himself. There is only so much content he can put out and keep refering to Sherpa. Sherpa was the best dog, other than Key'sh. After awhile people will lose interest, his rating will suffer too. I feel your Dad is set in his ways,that's ok. Sarah, think about my suggestion for your Dad ( A Female Husky, which will be opposite of Sherpa's demeaner . A new beggining ,chapter in your Dad's life. Your Dad was excellent with Sherpa, a Female Husky may be the challenge your dad needs. NOTHING will take away from Sherpa,he was unique,loveable dog in his own rights, (one of a kind). Not trying to get into your Dads business, you know him better than anybody. When your Dad went visit Jody and Key, your Dad lit up when he saw Key. Some point in our life we need to move on and live for the future, the past although great is the past and will keep us in the same spot. Not moving forward. Your Dad needs something new to get himself out of that spot. Is there any animal shelters around your area, that you could view online. There are elderly people who had to give up their dog to move into a elderly specialty place and can't bring dogs. Female Husky name Aisling means "dream or vision ". Thanks ( I am 67 and gone through that many times what your Dad is too ) . When you fall off the horse,you get right back on. New chapter on your Dads channel.
