An interesting perspective. Also a perfect illustration into how Socialists don't understand capitalism and rely on cognitive dissonance and deception to sell their ideas.

Are you sure you have named it correctly……how about the corporate socialism component of this corrupt economic philosophy. Are we talking about might makes right here. Flowery podcast claiming intellectual exploration can’t hide the warts of the greater reality.

Capitalism is merchant power. We live in a merchatcracy and way to defy their power is to use their own medicine against them which meqns that we will use the means of exchange, communication and definitions against them. They have build their empire on the word. However the word isn't the truth. Truth is unchanged in the sky. We must defy their definitions through the act of defining the world as we truly see it and using jokes and humor to ridicule the ridiculousness of the system built on word. Many still want to be part of the system. Often the weak ones. We should therefore elevate our virility and make examples of ourselves so thers want to be as virile as us too. When this happens, people begin seeing the flaws of the word and stop being a literalists and start seeing the realiry as it is. Then ofc the laws must be changed in favor for self sufficiency away from the grip of the system. In doing this system will starve for its mere impossibility when we stop feeding the system and decide to eat organic and be self sufficient and define reality as we see it instead of following scientific dogma

Look at China. Its a hybrid of capitalo- communistic system. They are winning in every department. Its not Russia,nor USA. Slow and steady wins the race

Monopopy capitalism IS cronyism

We DO have capitalism by the definition that owners of capital own the means of production and the ability of capital to influence and organize society. Unlike what so many libertarians say you can get long lasting monopolies in free markets. As a result of capital acquisition being a necessity for survival rather than a willing engagement those same monopolies influence behavior to the monopolies benefit.

such a cop out answer. crony capitalism IS capitalism. cronyism/monopoly/oligopoly is the logical outcome of a profit-based system

Capitalism will collapse on its own, but not before it takes the whole of humanity and the environment with it. The Socialist Party of Great Britain's analysis is correct, the workers must organize and overturn the class order.

Wrong. Everything has its time. Marx was right about capitalisms weaknesses and it's ultimate end

The ultimate end of capitalism is not the topic, the topic is capitalism’s implosion, the system killing itself. The writer says if let alone capitalism will survive and won’t collapse under any of its economic crisis, leaving only revolution as a way for it to end 🤷

I don't think 2 parties trading goods and services between each other will ever die unless humans do. Communism can't even get rid of capitalism within their societies. Humans naturally trade.

Very interesting work. Though it may be an over-simplification and ideological, this brings to the forefront the repeated efforts of economic reform. What I have learned is that societies today are not purely capitalist or socialist or communist or whatever; they’re on the spectrum of any of these relative to the others. The people or a society may need traits from one form or another over time and cannot stay stagnant. Looking forward to other listens.

I believe socialism isn't separate from capitalism. The argument between the seller and the buyer creates a fair price, likewise the argument between the worker and the capitalist should create a fair wage, what has happened is that argument no longer takes place, because the voice and power of the worker has been destroyed.
@georgerandel1441

@arandmorgan while I do agree the voice and power of the worker has been been hindered, I think the cause is do to the socialist policies to begin with. Things like minimum wage bar the lowest skilled workers from entering the market. I think it also makes workers less likely to negotiate for their wage. Turns into a "well, the wage is what it is". Overregulation hindering competitors from entering the market lowers the competition between businesses for workers with the skills required.

Privatization and Nationalization are the left and right to the communist body. Private fund all national interest and the national publish laws to protect private equity, which are national investments and cooperation. This is Democracy establishment of social security and insurance to guarantee trust and value of the Banks and Military.
