So... I just found out how to fix my problem, i used BTGPS on my android device, its redmi note 5, and all you have to do is set the BTGPS Course On Ground setting from calculated to Simple Heading true, and there you go working perfectly, its more cheaper using used smartphone

Anyone here who know how to download older imageries using SAS.planet? (Like of 2000s) And how to find out imagery date of an image shown? Many Thanks. P.S.: I landed up trying SAS.Planet program to download very high-res satellite imagery.
@chuckbagby80704 жыл бұрын
The easiest way to do this is to download Google Earth Pro for desktop. Under the View menu you will see a choice for historical imagery. Google Earth Pro on Desktop can be downloaded here (Scroll to the bottom): www.google.com/earth/versions/

Hi Chuck, Thanks a lot for your videos. I have a problem when plugging in my GPS. The position appears for about 10 seconds and then disappears. The satellite signal strength does not show up. Any advice is very welcome!
@chuckbagby80704 жыл бұрын
Hello Blue Peter, This sounds like an issue with the GPS device. Usually the device comes with instructions to download software to test the device. I suggest you test the device with another software program to ensure the problem is with the device. I once had GPS device act like this. Although it lasted longer (approx 10 minutes) before it shut down. It turns out that there was a temperature shutoff switch inside that automatically shut it off when it got to hot. I ended up having to purchase another GPS device.

Thanks Chuck, My GPS is a Garmin map 78. Apparently, nothing is wrong with it. I'm using it without any problem with Open CPN. Perhaps something is wrong with my laptop (Windows 10)
@chuckbagby80704 жыл бұрын
If the GPS location shows up in SAS.Planet for 10 seconds then it is configured correctly. But just to be sure. What do you mean when you stated that the position appears for 10 seconds and then disappears? Do you see numerical data in the side bar? (Distance, altitude, etc.) Like that shown in the video? If you are seeing the numerical data, even for a short time, then it is configured correctly. You would not see any numerical data if it were not configured correctly.
@BluePeterProduction4 жыл бұрын
Yes, I do see numerical data in the side bar, but after about 10 seconds the position and the side bar disappear. When your GPS is connected to your computer, does the satellite signal strength show up? On mine, it never shows up.
@chuckbagby80704 жыл бұрын
@@BluePeterProduction Yes, I do see the satellite signal strength, but it takes longer than the positional data. What gets communicated when depends on the device so mine maybe different than yours. My main focus is to ensure that it is configured to communicate properly and this is confirmed with the numerical data you are seeing in the side bar. We have reached the limit of troubleshooting I can do from afar. If you cannot get your Garmin device to work then you may consider purchasing a USB GPS device like the one shown in the video. They can be purchased online at low cost and it is good to have a backup to your Garmin. This is all the help I can give you from afar. Sorry.
