Very nice, momeli! I lived for many years in Fukuoka, in Nakasu, and have been all over Kyushu. MInoshima is a nice quarter, simple with several good Korean restaurants. Also Yakuin and Shirogane are nice. Nishinakasu is full of small alleys and restaurants and charming, but as always in Japan, check the menu and the prices before entering and ordering! But the whole city is nice and relaxed. Regarding yatais I think the best are in Nakasu down towards Canal City, but there are some other good ones in Tenjin and on Showa Dori. For visitors: do not worry, there are public toilettes very close by, free and as clean as the Sheraton hotel. My favourites were always small dimly lit yakitori places with locals and salary men. You do smell some of charcoal and meat after visiting, but the food is so good. For visitors again: it is easy to order, most of the skewers are on display, just point and hold up one or two fingers. Maybe a pig foot or such require an order in Japanese? But basically it is very easy and friendly. Order a little by little, yakitori should be eaten warm. In Fukuoka yakitori is not only pieces of chicken, it can be beef, pork, motsu, vegetables, ginko nuts, mushrooms etc. Take a seat by the counter, watch the master work his yakitory and enjoy. Do not forget edamame beans and cabbage with vinegar. For Daizafu there are also suburban trains, densha, from Tenjin station to Daizafu - Tenjin -Omuta line, one change. Do not expect to eat well in Daizafu, only some snacks, then just sweet mochi and ume stuff which I personally never eat. But worth a visit when in town, there are trees which are 1500 years old. Good episode. Salamat!

For Train/bus, you may use IC card or just buy oneway ticket each time. Hello! I’m glad you found my vlog helpful. @@clipclopclippity Hello, I took the JR Line train directly to Yufuin Station on the 7:43 AM schedule. The journey took about 2.5 hours. Yufuin to Beppu, the bus station is conveniently located near Yufuin Station. You’ll pass it on your left as you walk toward Floral Village. Buses run every 10-15 minutes. Beppu to Hakata. I went to the Tourist Information Center in Kannawa, where the bus stops. I caught the 5:15 PM bus. Travel time was 3+ hours depending on the traffic.
