Sai Ram, Glad that it was pointed out that longevity is a matter of concern in the realm of actuarial practice. I sincerely appeal to Sir to go a little backward in ones life cycle and design a policy for those innocent children who may suffer potentially from any congenital disorder. Insuring before birth may be the answer. As I understand there are such policies especially abroad , I think Switzerland and other European countries, but their scope and depth is limited.

Sai Ram, I am really proud to know that SSIHL is doing a lots of work in the field of actuarial science. However in my opinion actuarial science in the context of Sai university must be a vehicle for human welfare , as i remember Swami had clearly expressed that Sai University should work for welfare rather than mere commercial development. I hereby propose that Sai university undertake a project at least for academic interest , a project which is out of the box and only for the brave ie Develop a insurance product which can assure support to children born with downs syndrome and with premium paid at time of marriage as part of marriage registration process. I am saying this at the risk of being ridiculed, but then as Sai Devotee we should have the courage say something differently if it is for the welfare of people, even though successful implementation may be a remote possibility (seemingly but not really so if we trust Swami) I would like to remind the elders , especially the VC that even when Swami announced that one day Puttaparthi would have a University , it was hard to digest for those without faith. Similarly Free hospital. Nobody thought it would be possible to run such a hospital for so many years. Also Hospital was built on just 1 years time. Further Railway station and airport . All these looked impossible . Please remember we are like Hanuman , we are all Sathya Sai's Dootha s and Like Hanuman nothing is impossible for us. In fact we are duty bound to do something far greater than what is done anywhere else. I would like to admit that I do not have any such great academic qualification but I really feel for those unfortunate children. Since I do not want to be anonymous I am giving my Mobile no so that in case you have not understood me , you are welcome to call me. But I am sure this is a simple concept for such great actuarial brains. My mob 9343367556.Mahesh. One thing I would like to remind all of you, let us not stand by any excuse regarding the practicality of this concept .Our VC can understand this better, was our space programme believable when in concept stage? If we do then we would be doing a disservice to the objective of Swamis University. Swami said once that mans brain is the best instrument and even a air plane first took shape in the brains of the Wright Brothers. We know Swami is Prema Swarupa and all companionate and his Love is universal but at the same time Swami had a very soft corner for the children of Spastic Society of Karnataka, Bangalore . I can explain this later, but in my humble opinion we should take this as a challenge! Icing on the cake, this concept can cover many other congenital diseases and those innocent children can find some support . If not we, who else will do it? My humble request, at least spend some time discussing this and come to a conclusion.@THEKatpadi

"SAI RAM".There is no admission for 6th class. admissions at 1st class(lottery method),after 10th(intermediate)ssshss taken by examination, after intermediate (undergraduate) you can join in sssihl which is taken through the examination.
