What if some post-processing is needed once the AI answer is generated, like parse the response and update some values in Firestore, should we do that via Cloud Functions or from the iOS app itself? Thanks.

You need to have a note in the interface NOT to chance the firestore database name from (default) otherwise you can't connect to it by default in the code. It's not obvious and a lot of people (like me) will think it's a matter of being organized to name your DB. Then you'd expect that only having one database would mean it's the default database. This was 2 hours of work for me to track down and a miserable "Firestore Repeatedly Returning Error: 5 NOT_FOUND" error that was no help at all.

I wish i could had gemini advice on how to correctly create the schema in first place. (Dataconnect schemas feels like nothing i had with SQL before, and we cant rely GraphQL documentation) I made some iterative deploy to ask gemini for help on the schema but DataConnect has a strong forcing migration policies and wont allow me to just flush everyting. Now i m stuck with a broken schema with 0 data in it... And Gemini recommand me to just create another firebase project.
