It totally worked. Had a concrete chasing blade on my grinder, the flange spanner was bending and I could not budge it. Saw your vid clip and wow, gave it one hard rap, everything spun off!!!! Thank you.

Thank you, this bailed me out today. I did not think there was any hope to get that wheel off, but with the instruction in your video it was off after about 10 or 12 shots to the pavement.

When not in use do not lock the lid down or you will compress the gaskets. It says that right in the manual. My 20 year old foodsaver/gamesaver silver works perfectly.

I have a unit similar to that one but the hand held sealer has no suction. I replaced everything except the hose because it goes inside and I can't see how it is attached. Do you have any suggestions?

It fixed the squeaking but after I could feel the wood underneath since I have a memory foam so I had a box and put it on top of the original bunkie board and now it’s perfect 😊. But if I had a mattress with springs it would have been so much better😅

I've seen some people blow this off with a compressor, not a good option in a bedroom. Is there a particular brush that gets these fans clean?
@fotopdo
@fotopdo 9 ай бұрын
I would say that this is good for routine cleaning, but I think disassembly is the only way to really clean it back to factory spec.

thanks! can you easily remove the two vent wings once open?
@fotopdo
@fotopdo 9 ай бұрын
UPDATE - you can remove them, but it is a little difficult, and a little more difficult reattaching them. If you rotate them as far as they will go toward each end, you can slide in a slotted screwdriver and carefully pop them straight down. once apart you will see how it attaches, and that they will only separate at that position. it seems like the correct position is about 1 degree of rotation further than it can go in that position. but there is just enough flex to remove and reattach them. The smallest change in position could have made it much easier.

After struggling to unclip the vents for several years (always afraid I was going to break off the plastic bit), this close up video gave me the courage to give it a try and I can report that I have finally been successful in getting the wing vents open. So much easier to get to the blower wheel without having to dismantle the whole apparatus. Thank you so much for making this video. Too bad that there is virtually nothing written about how to do this.

Totally agree, I pried it out with a jeweler's screwdriver after watching Jon's video. Same here for years I wanted to rip off that screen! I thought how can they build a system which you can't due cursory maintenance on, especially if/when there is some mold buildup?! "Lifesaving" video! Thanks Jon!

Lift the main tank lid off. YOU SEE THE DRAIN TUBE WHERE THE BLACK HOSE POURS INTO, PULL OUT THE HOSE - INSTALL A ONE INCH PVC WHITE COUPLER TO TOP OF THE ONE INCH TUBE TO RAISE WATER LEVEL. Now use a screw driver and tighten- screw the adjuster all the way down and the water in tank will rise up and give you more volume of water to flush. place the black hose into the PVC tube - then get a powerful water flush you will be happy with! I DID THIS TO MINE AND NOW IT IS ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL!! Powerful flush........

The downside is if your car is quite new then I've found the toothpick scraping to be fairly risky, and it does show a bit. And you're right, the so-called "how to" guys never tell you the hard parts -- they aren't interested in the truth, they're too busy trying to get you to "like" them. Certainly if your car is several years old then a little toothpick scraping / marks is not a great worry, especially a truck or utility vehicle.
