There's even more. There's one map that's outside of Azeroth and dungeons, where it seems blizzard tested new raids before the launch of WoW. There were some HUGE untextured structures, and i mean HUGE.

I really enjoyed the video! The cinematography, the narration, and especially the varied background tracks (especially the Shadow of the Colossus one!) really made it enjoyable :)

Se dieron cuenta que las cosas "ocultas" en wow siempre son así de creepy?. Parecen más tributos escondidos en el juego que un giño de algun programador.

And one possible best part that was not mentioned...you have a chance you find other paladins doing the exact same quest! We were 3 lv21 paladins travelling all over the world and we did all the parts together in a single night. (It took 5 hours maybe?) We met by chance in the very first quest since we couldn't do the first quest solo, and stuck together since then. Amazing night.

Sooo… why not mention that the hall of the upside down sinners is a direct reference to Big Trouble in Little China? In fact all of the Kharazan Crypt is? Makes it a lot more funny and a lot less scary 🤷‍♂️

"Not the sort of place you'd just stumble across" I was doing the quest the other day, on the final wave a L60 shaman came over the hill, ran towards me and killed me with 1 hit *sigh*

Subbed!! Love this series; can't wait for the next episode. Nice to find someone who enjoys the same things about classic that I do (except I'm always, and have always been, horde haha). You've convinced me to try the Alliance story so well done! Keep up the awesome work!

Truly fantastic editing work from 11:45 onward. Didn't even realize, until the snippet was almost over, that it was an homage to fixed-camera horror games; I'm a stranger to that era, so maybe I'm just slow on the uptake, but when I _did_ catch on, I had to leave a comment. Well done!

The first time I visited New Man's Landing was due to what I can only guess to be back-up spawns for player characters. During the newer tutorials for the game on boosted characters, you start on an air ship. If you manage to jump off and die, you can choose to reset to your normal respawn location-- which hasn't been set yet. So it sends you to Westfall. If you die again, this time in the ocean due to Fatigue, if you choose nearby, it will send you to New Man's Landing. This process was bizarre in two ways. One, I ended up across the whole planet in Westfall as my assigned respawn location on Horde, and then I chose to respawn nearby thinking it would take me back to Westfall only to appear at New Man's Landing. As for Old Ironforge, I remember stumbling my way into this area at some point during Warlords of Draenor, and there was actually someone there. Someone important. It was Magni Bronzebeard, frozen in stone. Not a statue, just him, stuck in Stone Form, petrified. There he waited until Legion. As these days he's out and about, he's obviously not still there. Apparently he was trying to commune with Azeroth for *four years,* which lines up with the actual amount of time he wasn't an active NPC. A very cool lore detail.

I think I had the best experience with this quest and feel blessed (as any other Paladin) to have had this experience. Later on, I found out it was the best quest in the game. 15 years after the game was released, in 2019, it was the first time I was playing on the official server and a Paladin also for the first time. While taking care of my endeavours, at around level 20-21 and well into the night, I suddenly get a whisper from an unknown player, asking me if I want to join them in doing a quest. As an adventurous young Paladin, I accepted the challenge and joined their group as the fourth Paladin. They were the best people in the world and so nice that despite them heading towards the Stilwell wife, they made a detour in order to come with and guide me with starting the quest chain. We started the quest, did everything we had to, including the dungeons that we could and returned to craft the Verigan's Fist. The journey was great, and I kept screenshots. They made fun of me for not knowing how to walk instead of running, lots of chatter and other jokes, and much running around. I was amazed by this weapon because it was the first time seeing it and the guy did not tell me what it is (nice again) probably aiming to not spoil the surprise. Also, it was one of the best, if not the best experience I had in WOW, on par with seeing the Northshire Abbey for the first time as a Warcraft 2 player. Absolute greatness!

Personally my favourite Paladin quest was the level 60 mount. The lore and stuff was amazing but the people I had with me who helped made the experience so worthwhile. I just remember thinking "man these people must really want to support me". And that was really what made vanilla WoW so special to me. The community and the cooperation.

Every time I remember this questline I remember a MMO webcomic making fun of how a Player finally got a epiuc sword and the next patch the Devs made is a Easy 20 minute quest and everyone had one. The conclusion of everyone getting the Ashbringer was the biggest wet fart in Legion. Rigfht after giving warriors crappy "literally who?" types of "Artifacts"

Another "flyover" area, this one above the Human starter zone, was a lake with a pier next to a cabin, and an indicated school of fish. However, when fishing that pool, you caught a Peacebloom. That's how the area got to be known as Peacebloom Lake.
