Since there is a 1" shift in the brick, why would you not place pilings underneath to lift the house and repair what must be a crack in the foundation? The floor inside of the house cannot be level with such a shift.

Wait, sir, what happened under the tile? Did you smear mortar or grout, then seat the tile then grout in between the tiles after tiles set from ground mortaring?
@Chrdiy2 ай бұрын
After you clean the old water from under the tile, you reset the replacement tile, then regrout once dry
@dunsmoregaines42392 ай бұрын
@@Chrdiy So nothing of a cement nature gets newly smeared under replacement tile? Probably because pulling old “substrate “ (is that the term? )would ruin the water proofing, which is plastic? Then the in between grout holds the newly placed replacement tile in place? Or is new mortar smeared down? Sorry, I’m really using your video for a real project on a Roman bath tub and want to be clear. I’ve never done this and it just seems to me that you need new mortar under tile then grout the cracks/in between tiles. Reading your comment I think I understand it to mean you do indeed paste down new cement then new tile seated down then grout.

@@dunsmoregaines4239 no under the tile is a inch and a half concrete wet bed base under the wet bed base there's a wet bed liner, under that liner there's another inch and a half wet bed base. Therefore removing the tile does not compromise any portion of the waterproofing or wet bed your left with smooth concrete which is the second poor over which is installed over the rubber pan liner. Great video. Wow, what a disaster. Curious what the foundation should have been originally constructed like,
@Chrdiy2 ай бұрын
For slab construction, a minimum 32" deep x 18" wide footing with block foundation then infill pad with gravel, mesh, insulating ridging board and vapor barrier meeting code. Or continuous monolith style pour with all mentioned condition being prepped and meet prior to pour, one piece concrete pour slab and footing at once. This was old school before regulations pre 1960

Double flat box bracing send the post mounts to the flush bottom. You do this you do this bracing to two floor joists cavities deep for added rigidity.

What is the difference between the T and street 90? So the street 90 goes into a T and the water from the washer will be enough room to get through. Does the street 90 also allow water from the top to get through fine?
@Chrdiy5 ай бұрын
Only diff is the ty he side 90 is molded to pitch downward allowing water to cascade in direction of down drain. Regular causes drain water to enter straight and wash or splash into the pipe sideways, slowing the drain process. Does not affect to drainage flow

@Chrdiy5 ай бұрын
Actually the wire is is twisted two ways. When you install the wire you want the lower part of the v to the diamond to be cuffed so it's slants inward so when the motor is placed on the mesh it cups and holds the mortar agai and prevents the mortar and prevents the mortar and prevents the mortar and prevents the mortar from falling off the mesh

Yes every structure also must have footing and foundation for which to build and construct on. This permanently attaches the building to the and settlement and sagging when properly

I was wondering if the chain gets hot and sags a little bit and is hitting on something. My problem is that I live in the Philippines and there is nobody with any experience of these over here.
