One of the speakers mentioned Operation Gulmarg. But if you visit Gulmarg today, especially during winter, it's like going to a European town, but closer and more affordable

I hope in the future if there is a conflicts of this kind, it can be resolved through diplomacy rather than resorting to acts of violence, so that no innocent people will be caught in the crossfire of such disputes.

It's not a problem of religion but that of resources. J&K is strategically important because the Silk Route goes through Kashmir, so does the Indus River.

In the past, Kashmiris weren't allowed to own land and had to pay a tax just to pay other taxes. Under India, they can finally have their own homes and even buy land in other parts of India if they want to. They are equal under Indian law

Fun fact: J&K actually has two capital cities! Jammu is the capital during winter and Srinagar becomes the capital during summer.

Jammu dan Khasmir memiliki garis perbatasan, menyebabkan antar saudara tidak bisa saling bertemu. Sejak tahun 2004, perbatasan itu dibuka dan mereka bisa saling berkunjung. Semoga bisa selamanya hidup berdampingan seperti itu.
