Hoost wanted to knock Sapp out and refused to win any other way. His pride and overconfidence in knockout power was his downfall. If he would have stuck to nothing but leg kicks and liver shots he could have spared himself the brain trauma issued by the weight behind Sapps punches.

Certainly, I think this was the most entertaining and exciting match in K-1 history, but K-1 has produced many matches that were just as exciting and moving. I have to say that K-1 is the greatest event in the history of martial arts, even to this day. It was the combination of many miracles.

I loved bob sapp and man if he had some actual technique he would have made Francis Ngannou today look tame. The sad part is in these days of K-1 and pride the fighters were entirely responsible for their own medical bills. You will see in later fights Sapp just goes down and turtles to avoid any damage because he said in many fights he was losing money with the tiny fighter payouts and tens of thousands in medical bills!

サムのボクサー対策はミドルですね。自分から仕掛け、相手が打って来たらミドル合わせ。マイクがパンチ行くと強いミドル合わせられるから手が出なくなってますね。

Bob sapp is the fighter that the Japanese love because he was very emotional and sometimes even cried, but what he sold was acting.Hoost didn't take him seriously, until he made fun of him and Sapp didn't think twice, he really beat him up
