Hello! With your Deity microphone plugged into your X1500, did you find a low/background hissing noise when recording?

Hello. I would need to connect the camera as a webcam to my computer. I need to do an online transfer via OBS Studio and I don't know how to do it all. It is possible to make a detailed guide on how to do this. Thank you

The solution to the noise floor problem is fixed by the cable you use. I have the Deity V-Mic D4 Microphone. I use the USB-C to TRRS (Compatible Sony ) cable wit the up branding on it. All hiss ad preamp notice has been eliminated.

your textual notes were displayed far too short for the number of words you had in the paragraphs. This makes it difficult for viewers to read. It's fine if you're a speed reader and can zip through everything. But I have a hunch that most people like me will make it through half the paragraph before it switches over either to another block of text, or a video scene. I'd strongly suggest use of a tripod or monopod. Handheld has become far too commonplace in filmmaking. It wasn't so long ago that handheld shooting was considered amateur. It still is. It's hard to watch and difficult to enjoy with the footage wandering all over the place onscreen. It's even more challenging for someone who like me, might have issues with vertigo. Handheld shoots are exceptionally hard for people with visual impairments and issues like vertigo. The issues with your video comparison is white balance. It looks and appears that you took the camera and started shooting straight out of the box. To get the best color, the best saturation, gamma, lighting and overall good composition balance the camera should be manually white balanced. Or, you should have used the auto white balance mode. The colors and images would be brighter and sharper. It also looks like you do not have a UV filter on the lens. UV filters reduces and eliminates certain UV lights that makes videos look a bit off and even muddy, or slightly out of focus. On bright sunlit days the ND filter Settings are paramount and helps with overall image balancing. The camera is fitted with a "focus assist mode." this means that you can actually take manual control to direct the camera's eye to focus on specific details that are being overlooked by the auto focus even when the camera is in full auto focus. By manually changing the focus by turning the focus ring on the lens, the camera will begin searching for different areas in an image to focus on. Once your target is in focus you just release the focusing ring and let the camera's auto focus take control again. Focus assist works by temporarily interrupting the auto focus so that you can concentrate and direct the camera's attention on what you would like focused in better detail. I struggled with your handheld shots and they triggered vertigo events, which in turn, triggers migraine headaches. This is an overall good video. Give more time for your textual descriptors and allow them to play for at least 2 to 3 seconds longer. Study the owner's manual, look up reviews and tutorials about your camera. Get to know it and above all, practice, practice, practice. Thanks for the review.

@martinsmith90543 ай бұрын
It looks like a Patriot Defender type of exhaust you used to get for Harley Sportsters, they may have made them for Vulcans too. It was the best performing pipe for single pin crank engines. Not made anymore.

I just bought one of these and Tis is easily the best footage I’ve seen so far.
The reason the lights flicker is because the electricity in your country is at 50hz so you should use 25fps or 50fps.

However, GoPros aren’t great for night work and zooming. I have both GoPro 7, 8 and a 9 and they are great for quick videos or action videoing and have purchased Panasonic HC-H2000 for low light / night work or for capturing a nice zooming shots

Very incredible footage, Rasco. I like your angled shots. Did you have it fixed at 12,800 ISO for this video? I was going to do a low light video on my A7SIII at the beach as well in SLOG3. I am wondering if having it locked between 12,800 and 25,600 ISO range would be ideal. I am going to have it in aperture priority mode so if it gets too bright in places, the shutter will go way up to compensate. I do not want it to go any lower than 12,800 to prevent unwanted noise.

I have found anything over 12 to start showing issues. I set the ceiling to 12 or 6 and lock everything else shutter to double frame rate and F stop to the highest I can go at whatever zoom I need to do, This way the exposure does not change when I am zooming in or out. I try to keep wide as much as possible. I try to set it to 6 or below if I have enough light and 12 when I have to I could probably get 14 or 15 but sadly the Ceilings can only be set 6, 12, 18. I would love to have a 15 setting. 18 is too high for my taste and 30 is unusable for my projects.
@momchilyordanov81902 жыл бұрын
Up to 15dB it has some noise but keeps some detail too. At 20 and more the noise reduction is too aggressive. Not a bad result, though. Considering the normal limitations of small sensor and fixed lens.

Me - Doctor, I get grain when I shoot in the dark with a camcorder Doc - Stop shooting in the dark with camcorders Camcorders and phones are just not designed for shooting in the dark. Get a cinema camera or large sensor DSLR for that. Some camcorders work well with less light but they all need some light. Even my 4/3 sensor DVX200 needs some light to be usable. Same with depth of field, I see so many people trying to get Bokeh out of camcorders with fixed lenses and that is like trying to screw in a Phillips screw with a flathead, It might work but it will be a pain in the ass and you might strip the screw. If you are buying the HC-X1500 and think you will be shooting in dark then purchase the handle, It has great light, As of the date of this comment, handles are unavailable so purchase the HC-x2000 instead.
