The final scene could be called corny, by some. I would call it sincere, unironic and beautifully based.

Too bad that none of the Texas Longhorns used in filming of both “THE ALAMO” and “THE COMANCHEROES” either one were used later on in the filming of “CHISUM” or “THE SONS OF KATIE ELDER”, let alone the following movies: “EL DORADO”, “THE COWBOYS”, “THE MAN WHO SHOT LIBERTY VALANCE”, “HOW THE WEST WAS WON”, “THE TRAIN ROBBERS”, “NORTH TO ALASKA”, “CAHILL U.S. MARSHAL”, “ROOSTER COGBURN”, “THE UNDEFEATED”, “TRUE GRIT”, “RIO LOBO”, and “THE SHOOTIST”.

This is so cool, and I’m glad the park is rigorous about growing and developing more and more inclusive attractions. Larger amusement parks could absolutely take a page out of Morgan’s book in regards to providing experiences that everyone can enjoy.

I freakin loved the Superman coaster at six flags when I rode it 15 something years ago. It was such a trip popping up to the top of the quarry and seeing the entire park for just a split few seconds before plummeting back down into it which is such a cool element. I haven’t ridden the NEW iron rattler yet, I’ve only been on the old one. Definitely gonna have to make a trip out to ride it

When I was young I asked my Uncle Bob how I should be- he told me to pick a couple of Actors, to which I picked John Wayne and Johnny Weissmuller, as Tarzana. This simple tool has helped guide me through my life. It was a blessing to have so many Great Actors when I grew up. Being 74 years old.

The cinematography is stupendous! It really captures the cityscape and its various sites. I am an amateur architect and I have always loved San Antonio's Venetian-like waterways. Also, the dream-like locales in this short really make one feel haunted, desperate to reclaim their long-lost love. [Sighs]. And lastly, 'Júbilo,' portrayed by Danniel Giraldo, truly is an amazing soul, an authentic performer, and an extraordinary man. He loves what he does and any role he takes on is always celebrated by Our Royal Person. Dan... "Make us believe in make-believe again!" 🎭 🎶 🌆 "We will watch your career with great interest." 😉

The only movie john wayne made for grown adults might have been was The Shootist and it was farfetched,his worst movie was The Alamo that by far was the worst it’s so far from what really happened at the Alamo it’s absolutely ridiculous especially the scene where they balance a feather on their noses and try to blow them off ridiculous!!!

Want to THANK John Wayne & his family. We in the US are running out of PATRIOTS! Everything in society is Me, Me ,ME ! Whatever happened to WE, as in WE THE PEOPLE? As an old-timer myself I'd like to THANK Mr. Wayne & others like him who inspired confidence in our country at tough times when we most needed it! Take a look around. Where ARE we headed? The world is a tinder box & people want to keep lighting FIRES instead of putting them out? Duke, if you're listening, please pull a few strings & see about sending America a true LEADER, we have too many politicans dividing the country instead of keeping it together!___GOD BLESS AMERICA___

It seems crazy that the Spaniards did, building a baroque church in a remote and wild place populated by Apache and Comanche Indians.

Sorry I don't agree with the 1960 movie and the actors picked to portray certain historical people..but he was and is a very good and great man. The 2000 Alamo movie is more accurate to how many of us Mexican Americans believe except for the Santa Ana depiction that is too negative

John Wayne did tremendous work and intense love in making his magnum opus “The Alamo”. From it two legends will be remembered. The men of the Alamo and of the Duke!!!
@gregsantos523310 ай бұрын
I watched this movie & it was soooo inaccurate & disrespectful! It's only a good movie of U like things whitewashed! There were NO Tejanos portrayed defending the Alamo, plus Lieutenant Colonel Juan Seguin was 30 yrs old when this event took place! Not an old man like in the movie. My cousin played a pivotal role in the events that happened there! So when I think of the Alamo, I dnt think of that pendejo Marion Wayne, I think of my family & ppl ( the Coahuiltecans ) that built & died & buried under the walls of the Alamo! This movie sucked & is a TOTAL WHITEWASHED MOVIE I'VE EVERY SEEN! But wat can I expect from a racist P.O.S.? 🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼 Marion Wayne! 🪶🪶🪶🔪🔪🔪
