Killer plugin but sadly behind a monthly payment paywall. Wish there was a One-Time Payment(if you know how to get this one time payment let me know bruh). Loved the end result, but why not simply adjust the source/reverb mix to achieve the same thing? Wouldn't that work too?

This is for when you want more of the reverb but you don’t want it to muddy up the vocals. It’s I think a better approach to using reverb, the compressor keeps the reverb out of the way when the vocals are in and that way you don’t have to automate the reverb volume for example. Hope that makes sense.

Start playing with the presets. But make sure to adjust the threshold for the proper level. Btw, I have a video explaining the basics of compression here on the channel

@ElishaRecords In my case a compressor did not help. I needed a de-esser. I had to remove a "shh" sound from "watch". T De-esser did a decent job. It's free as well.

@@ElishaRecords Well, when you listen to music on different headphones, it sounds more or less distant/intimate. I was looking for a similar effect that doesn't evolve over time. You set it once and for all.

@@extrabigmehdito get that effect of closeness you need to first consider the type of microphone and also how you record the sounds. Usually I use a condenser microphone and record really close to the audio source. That will give you that close up effect. I’ll do a video about it and also about ASMR

Many of the menus are dark by default. What I showed is what Cubase allows you to modify. Other than that it’s all about the OS you’re using and Cubase itself.

Yeah, I believe is a mac thing. Usually dark mode adds that. There’s no way to modify that within Cubase itself.
