Pow day wait times are now officially bonkers. Whistler was amazing late 1990's, Intrawest was building high speed lifts, opening new terrain, new lodges, the mountains merged in 1997, parking & access was not insane. Then came the Olympics, 2013-14 expansion plans, Renaissance project, sale to Vail, Epic pass, Covid, RIP.

So sad to watch. Met Shane a couple times, super nice guy. Rip

Shane McConkey will always be a legend He was a wonderful husband and father and he got to live more in his sport and was able to combine his talents in skiing and Base Jumping as well as Ski base wingsuit. Which is why he outshines most legends. ❤️

Meet Shane in Jackson back in the 90s. Super nice guy and great athlete.

Love JP. But I had twin tips from Kniesel in 1975. Used them as a teacher in ski school. They allowed me to easily ski backwards while teaching beginners, and more importantly, for fun on the slopes.

I just randomly came into a unicycle and my interest is now piqued. I also live in Arkansas nearby many mountainbike trails. Cool to see the more... "offroad" so to speak applications, this looks like a lot of fun. I've wiped out nearly as hard on my mountainboard before but now I have a good helmet...
