Most of them are garbage and are not transparent, and will use all your information against you. Recruiters are like.. really good at pretending they know what these words mean but making decisions that have huge ramifications for people who actually do.

If you're not reading the entire resume and are only looking for key terms, then you should only require your job seeking clients to provide you with key terms only instead of a fully written resume. It is basically a waste of time to do since you guys are not even taking the minimal amount of time to read the resume.

provable experience/competence is worth more than any degree. if you're going to an interview for an it job, set up a network you can remote into and screw it up on purpose with things you think the company might have a problem with. when they ask you 'how do you fix X Y Z", pull out your laptop, plug it in their projector and remote into your own stuff, fix the problem (hopefully the same or similar). too many times a place will get an interviewee to show their competence by fixing a problem they don't know how to fix themselves and then not hire you.

Degrees are for the brainwashed. Degree's mean absolutely nothing. Having a degree only shows that you're an idiot who wasted thousands of dollars.
