I liked that she respected Teena's approach to singing, so much, that she gave a damn about NOT fucking it up. She hit the notes the way they should be hit, without trying to sound EXACTLY like Teena. And then to, some of those notes were are just tough to hit, because very early on in her career, Teena was a straight-up soprano...this young lady sounds more like an alto doing a solid job of singing soprano. Which is not a bad thing.
