Shinichi Maeda a.k.a Sonny Chiba was a Korean ethnic Japanese, just like most Japanese citizens are. so that is why his son Arata Maeda .a.k.a Makenyu got Korean looks.

Mackenyu does NOT look Korean at all. Stop insisting your Koreaboo stuff on Mackenyu. Go to Korean streets and you will never see someone who looks like Mackenyu. Korea does not have much diversity. Mackenyu can pass as other Asian. He looks like he can be someone from Taiwan or Hong Kong, but NOT Korean. Try watching some old movies from Taiwan and Hong Kong and you would see so many good looking Asians. Overall, he looks simply Japanese to me. I've been to Korea and Japan, and I can say that Japanese have more NATURAL good looking people and there are several men who are TAN, and have natural big eyes. Japan colonized Korea for many years.

Mackenyu spent his entire childhood in the US so no wonder why he speaks as an American citizen. He coulda got US citizenship if only Japan allowed dual citizenship

hes got a fake US citizenship, but he also got a Japanese one because the Japanese government doesn't mind them having both if the person is rich or famous. only poor ordinary ones have to face this rule. i was with his father Sonny Chiba in 1994 when he came to the US embassy to get his immigrant visa. he was born 2 years later in 1996 lol

Mackenyu is already a US citizen by virtue of the fact he was born in the US. A child born in the US automatically becomes a US citizen. That’s the law there.
