Leah is is a fabulous mokume with genius laying on the pen.. perfect 👏👏 I use mokume slices for any project I fancy.. jewellery, boxes and bottles. I will be doing pens like this in future🙏🏽

I covered the handle of a metal comb I use for combing my dogs fur. I found the thin handle difficult to hold so I built it up with scraps and then covered it with a MG pattern.

just a point, there is no purple/violet colour in the rainbow. We have just evolved to interpret some unknown colour as purple

Great job!!! For your first time you did amazing. Your pen is beautiful. I do MG alot and use it for everything almost. LOL. One thing I do is flip it over and do my designing on the back also. Somewhat less than the front, but it gives me a little different design and less wasted clay when I can cut from both sides. Just a touch tricky but it works. I am sure someone else has told you that already. But thought I would add. Thank you for sharing.
