You are on point Esther, I find people are not career growth-hungry or driven here. I found it weird, how someone stays on the same job for 15 to 30 years. Later I realized the difference between us, we study here people become nurses after 10 school years. So we are more academic-driven. Nursing here is labor-intensive. Yes, there's travelling nursing like accompanying people on holiday but with a German agency. Social groups like Caritas or Diako are very helpful and have offices in most African countries.
