Fantastic and I am working with composites constantly but this is way beyond my skill level.....hope one day I'll get to this level...

This is a very interesting video. Thank you for that. One question that crossed my mind was if there is some technical information about how sharpness typically theoretically increases / falls off throughout a particular distance. This may be helpful to provide some principal guidance towards a more realistic composition. Cheers …

Outstanding ! ! If you want to take it serious, there is no better video especially for beginners. Btw, 49 views - it's a shame.

Most people spend close to 2:25 telling me who they are, showing off their intro, telling me what they ate last night, reminding me to subscribe, hit the damn bell, and stick my thumbs up...but you just get to the point and teach me something I could use. (yeah, I subscribed, hit the damn bell, and gave it a thumbs up!)

The vignette really seems to marry the model and digital background together quite well. If you had not shown me, I would assume that you had used a painted background and had some kind of light behind her and it really makes her pop out more.

As a non native speaker it took me quite a time to get the hang of your (Scottish?) "touch". But your artistic approach kept me listening - much to my advantage, I must say, language wise and more so art wise too. Main question, of course is: How did you compose these three images in the fist place? Could you do a video about that too? Pleeeze!!!

Watching this video made me realize that I seriously need to bump my game up. I keep reminding myself that photography is Greek for "drawing with light" and to let go. I'm brand new to Photoshop (like 3 weeks new) and still trying to give myself permission to replace a background or remove an object:)) I need to hang out on your channel for a while.

If what you are after is improving the sharpness and the overall demosaicing of the RAW file, then I suggest you look at DXO PureRaw. Like you I have been using LR since its release in 2007 but while I love its features, it is not the best to interpret the RAW files (from any camera brand). Hence PureRaw works as either a standalone or a plugin for LRC and produces a DNG file from your RAW with everything being at its best (sharpness, lens aberrations, distortions and vignetting). Then you can do all the treatments in LRC and even finalise in PS for further cleaning. For the past 4 years this has been my workflow of choice and when I started I was with Canon R5. Now I am with GFX 100 II and Xt5.

So, I'm way behind in responding to you, Gary. The ability to create composites is very interesting to me. Luminar Neo just doesn't have all the tools I'd like to be able to use. The problem for me is I have no experience with PhotoShop. I assume the class will take that into consideration. Or, perhaps there is a more basic PS class that you'd recommend as a sort of pre-requisite for this one. If the PDF and the lessons contain the information needed to allow we beginners to succeed, that would be great. Personally, I prefer a video format so I can learn at my own speed. Very anxious to see the class. Thanks for the update today.

Very clever stuff as usual, thanks a lot Gary! Take your time with finishing the course and I wish you all the heart and Scots fortitude to vanquish all your recent troubles. And from what I know of your talent and work by now, the price you mentioned for your course is honestly way too low. I'm not just saying that. [Roger]

By the way, if you use layer styles on any shape, you can choose the stroke and color and change them at any time. You could also change the size of the shape without affecting the size of the stroke, etc.

Thank you. Just a reminder about the ink in water image. That image wasn't in the download folder from the video you mentioned. I believe you acknowledged this with people commenting about it in that video "Double Exposure Creative Ideas." Could you update that download for that video? Love your videos and I'm subscribed.
