@ naw. U got lucky. If he had counter or 0 cost events in his hand or even regular counter events in his had u wouldn’t be able to end.

@grizzley-magnum3421 sure… because if he had normal counter or 0cost events a 5k attack with Uta would go through, right? Also in your scenario he would live until his turn and he was gonna beat 3 life, 8k counter and a board full of blockers with a queen and a leader. Makes total sense.

I’m still working on an op09 list. I’m checking the cards to see if there is something good. The line I’m following is to play more “activate main” cards and less “on play” effects since Blackbeard may be a problem. Did you see anything good already?
