First time I seen the ascent from end to end. It brings up good tears seeing Steve Bishop skating Winery Rd. with his peeps Sun shining in his face and the horizon limitless. Racuca having his back encouraging up those steep curves! Eddy coming to help pace them. RIP we will not be able to experience this together - till the next universe my friend😥🎊

The Prof Margaret Price from the Ohio State University, Ralucha Moucha my favourite Canadian Neuroscientist left us for Dallas Texas. She always brings beautiful dark chocolate and smooth bold red wines to the Sprouts after workouts. Lili is favorite psychiatrist from Kelowna British Columbia. My favorite Veteran Computer specialist with severe allergies and Michelle his lovely wife have been married since 2011. Steven C Bishop our courageously silent hero and friend lost his 12 year battle to Pancreatic Cancer in Baltimore, Maryland. Sorry we were not aware of his condition earlier so we could all show the love and respect we had for a fellow SPROUT. We will not ride again. May he ride again with the Sun shining in his face, the wind at his back and the horizon clear and endless. Till we all skate again in Peleton formation. We wish you grace and serenity that you bestowed on us. To Steve Rogers - aka- Captain America with the 2 cameras mounted to his helmet to film this fantastic video capturing the farmers skating - thank you . More importantly sharing the experience of watching SKATEFARMER coaching and encouraging the farmers on. You got to experience a Koenigsegg Super car go 3 to 4 times up and down Winery Road. And to Eddy Matzger - thank you for your humor and humanity in furthering our skating skills.Than you sir.

You are looking a the elite Sprouts G.I Joe - aka Trenter Bugg and SONIC Shah. Legends in the Inline community and Steve Rogers my Brother in Crime from Austin Texas!!! We're gonna Rock Winery and enjoy the wine tasting at CHATEAU Morissette. In the far right is Steven C Bushop a dear friend who fought a quiet and Courageous battle with Pancreatic Cancer will not skate with and his other friends at Skatefarm anymore. You are Dearly missed by all of the students of SKATEFARMER

That's gotta be hard on the wheels. How often do they have to be replaced?
@StevenRogers2 жыл бұрын
The T-stop is - the rest are not too bad. I can usually get ~800-ish miles out of a set, depending on when my patience runs out, and how good my form has been.

It looks like it is less of a re-enactment than it was in earlier years. Where's the tank? What happened?
@StevenRogers2 жыл бұрын
Yeah - I remember the tank from years ago. May have been a post-covid thing. I think they were just getting restarted, so may not have had the staff.

Good content 👍but hard to watch. Consider editing 3D into 2D and bumping up the resolution a bit.
@StevenRogers3 жыл бұрын
Yeah - I might try to edit it down at some point, and stabilize it. As it is, this is mostly for us - we want to see what we're doing. Unfortunately, that's the max resolution of the camera. 360 really burns up resolution.

Very nice 360 footage! What camera and software did you use? I assume Insta360 and garmin virb software?
@StevenRogers3 жыл бұрын
It's the Garmin Virb camera and software. I need to dig into the options for 360 software - the Virb editor is very bare-bones.

I dunno, some people - all he had to do was get his bike off the road and stand at the roadside to warn oncoming riders/skaters, it would have been easily avoidable then, instead you had no chance... :/ Your pace was fine though. Have to say, I'm really envious of your being close enough to use the Veloway, there's nothing like that here.

Very cool that you can document in 360. It sure seems to me that your pace was way too fast for the crowded conditions on that lap. Very lucky no one appears to have been injured.
@StevenRogers4 жыл бұрын
Even with that pace, it would have been so easy to get out of it, if I'd just slowed down more initially.

So why does that guy at the beginning of the video start into the street and turn back? Because intersections often don't have walk/don't walk lights, and where they exist, they usually aren't working.
