Enjoyed this game. Beat it for the first time at 35 years old! Loved the heart of this game. Some of the enemies were freaky!

your pc cant properly emulate a pentium? i am not questioning you. just asking.. what kind of CPU do you have? i have a 10 year old PC and performance might be an issue for me
@MattyStokedКүн бұрын
The PC I used to make that video had a 4GHz 4790k. It could emulate a P1 pretty well, a P2 okay and a P3 would drop a lot of frames. Emulating an entire CPU inside software is really complex!

Terminal Velocity was my jam back in the day (Shareware). It was a solid fun blast fest. I had a Windows 95 PC as my first computer. Terminal Velocity was a DOS game. The fact that this developer rehashed a derivative title that works so well in peak vaporware OS is actually fascinating to me. For my first PC, DOS was where the games were at and Windows 95 was where you played Solitaire. Now Descent for PC... however, that was the apex predator of 3D space sims.

I remember the deep profound effect reading it had on me at roughly 11, Carlos's artwork only adding a more harrowing feeling, to an overall nightmare inducing storyline. Im fairly sure I stopped reading Dredd for a while during this storys release

I want Konami to bring back Castlevania, and I want it to be an open air world ( BotW style, Draculas castle accessible at all times, but virtually impossible if you don’t know what you are doing, doing have your abilities unlocked ) and with souls-lite-ish type combat, and an actual story quests and choices and consequences

great video! thank you for taking the time to do this. me and my step dad loved 2000ad when i was growing up. so glad we managed to watch the karl urban dredd film before he died. some of my happiest memories from childhood are me and him using swear words from the comic for random moments and talking about the different stories. so many great writers and artists. the comic is a british punk institution for me.

When it came out, the PC was in the family room. Certain lines of dialogue ["The door's open, let's go", "You're stepping on my dress", etc.] are burned into all of our minds. My mom still quotes some of those lines sometimes, and she never even played it, she just overheard it so much lol. Anyways 5/6 year old me only beat this game with extensive cheat code usage. Fun fact; you can only use the full heal cheat so many times before the game just stops letting you.

Loved this game as a kid! Was totally obsessed with it. Had a crush on Lizzy and I would run around at recess pretending I was zapping monsters with the Ring of Rah. XD Funny how I was at the peak demographic for this game too. The narrator of this video said like "If I was 8 years old, I could see this taking a few sessions, actually." I was literally 8 when this came out. Ahaha. Don't remember how long it took me to beat the first time... if only I could go back!

@@MattyStoked Sure! I'll even subscribe just in case you do! 😀 I managed to get an old version of Direct Draw and play the whole game off my actual discs from the 90s last night! It was a lot of fun and I even found Easter eggs and whole new sections I never knew about as a kid. Mainly because I was a lot less afraid to explore the monster-filled mazes under the trash cans. Some of the characters have different dialogue if you skip through half the game. You definitely want to do the one on number 9 of the Doom Slide. 😆

Hello 🤗 sory to bother you but i have a small video request if you would maybe be wiling to do it... Since i see that you also like and post transformers armada videos and i LOVE that game, so i was wondering if you would be wiling to do a mod showcase video, i am most interested in reskins/recolourings of the characters, maybe you could play as some of the already existing skins such as nemesis prime, or maybe you could also recoulour another chraracter by yourself such as hotshot, (maybe make him red coloured like he was in the anime later on in the series, that is what i would like to se tbh...), would you be wiling to do that 🙏?

9:33 - the Belmont guy is Castlevania, when you turn on a game you expect to see one or be able to play as one somehow.
@jaredt259023 күн бұрын
It failed because Trevor was able to be stabbed by some guy and didn’t know he was there, he can take down the creature, death but some guy who can bring the dead back to life can just sneak up on him. Death had to be looking at himself like “why didn’t I try that?” (facepalm)

Have a lot of Nostalgia associated with this game - never got super far into it, but I played it in college when I finally got a PS2 - Armada had wrapped up at that point and while some of the toys(sorry, "figures") looked cool the cartoon didn't appeal to me a lot as an edgy 18 year old/burgeoning anime snob, I love how they just kind of did their own "Grown up" thing with the Armada characters. I'd love to see more stuff like this, less absolute Synergy and more "fun different versions of things for different audiences". That's one of the upsides of the multiverse obsession of the last few years. I'm not even sure this game NEEDS a remaster, but it should get a re-release for sure. It being relatively detached from the wider Armada franchise helps a lot. Think I might play it again on Stream! I have a friend who got into TFs during Armada(I'm old, so it was G1 Reruns/G2 for me) so we might look at it together.
