I love how the commander pointed out the right crosswind component as if the Flying Brick would notice or even care lol

Im all for a bit of a humour during a presentation but this was just too much. It seems to work for alot of people though so atleast he found success with that 👍.

I think space shuttles and rockets are different because space shuttles takes off and land like an aeroplane and rockets don’t take off and land like an aeroplane I think space shuttles and rockets both go to space. Question 1. Do you agree with me that I think space shuttles and rockets are different because space shuttles takes off and land like an aeroplane and rockets don’t take off and land like an aeroplane ? Question 2. Do you agree with me that I think space shuttles and rockets both go to space?
@GreysonRiverROalog2 ай бұрын
Yes I agree both are different And yes they do go to space of course
@fromnorway6432 ай бұрын
Space shuttles were launched _vertically_ just as rockets.
@sailorman866820 күн бұрын
@@GreysonRiverROalog Why did you not point out to PKEY-TV that space shuttles do NOT 'take off like an aeroplane' as he has claimed?
This is an amazing video I watch it at least once a year, I really want to know the reason the flight path indicator turns from a square to a circle at about 10k feet when they roll out from the HAC, really wish you went into detail about that.
@copebret19 күн бұрын
The square doesn't move - it just stays in the middle of the HUD. When it changes to a circle, it represents the velocity vector. If the shuttle continued to fly in a straight line based on its current velocity vector, then the circle shows overlays where it would hit the ground. The velocity vector is not particularly useful until you're lining up with the runway.
