Hi Stella, I'm from Quebec, Canada and I have a question as for the measurements. I printed out the templates and before cutting the pieces I compared both the video's and the templates' and they are not the same and I don't know why. For instance, the measures of the back are 8.4 cm x 13.3 cm (on the template) instead of 9.2 x 14.5 and the sides 9.2 cm x 13.3 cm instead of 10 x 14.5. What do I do wrong? Thanks for your help and congratulations on your work; you're amazing.

It sounds like your printer is automatically resizing the files! Before printing, check the print preferences to make sure it’s set to 100% of the original size. Typically, you can select 'original size' instead of 'fit to page,' which adjusts the size to fit the paper (wording may vary depending on the software). You can make them with old caps if you want, but these ones were actually made with paper! If you look at the bottom left corner of the screen (or the video's description if you're on a pc) you can find the link to the video tutorial where I show how to make them. They're super easy 😊

@@SimplystellaTVwhat material is used to create these bottles? I'm finding out the hard way that if I don't own a cricut, 3D pen or etc I may as well give up on making miniatures on my own and buy "someone else's work" that was actually made by machines they had the privilege to own.

@MelissaOhlrich These are 3D printed. I totally understand your frustration-I felt the same way when I started crafting 😂 But owning these machines isn’t necessary to create; they just simplify/speed up the process. Anything can still be made by hand if you want! I.e., with these bottles, you could sculpt a model from clay, cut it in half, make a casting mold, and fill it with resin. It takes more time, but it’s 100% doable. And if you find you enjoy crafting, you can always invest in tools later on. That’s exactly what I did-I've been making miniatures for a good 15 years now, and for the longest time, I didn’t have any fancy tools. Over time, I bought a cutting machine, a rotary tool, and, well, the 3D printer was actually a gift 😂

Oh, this is made out of paper, not 3D printed! I do have a few STL models in my shop, but they're only for smaller items-I’m not confident enough in my 3D modeling skills to upload my furniture yet 😅
