I tried the demo too, but once it asked me to start popping out to harvest things I just felt so tired. I think right now I am not in the right mood for this whole genre.

That's fair, it feels like later you might be able to send out your alters to do work. Especially once you start automating deep resources etc

For the longest time during watching I was waiting for you to decide to delete everything and start over. Everything just became spaghetti, and it made it so much harder for you to see what each section of belt was for, and made it virtually impossible to copy and paste extra parts in places where they made the most sense. It's a good upgrade from shapes 1. I like how the 3D element adds a whole new dimension (no pun intended) to routing and building efficiently.

For sure, I think if I were playing this as more than just the Demo, I'd have deleted a bunch and refactored. But yeah it's a massive upgrade from the first game
