Load and Reload are not bad albums, they were just way overloaded with songs that Metallica never cared for or ever played live. If they were to take the best songs from each and put them in one and just called it "Load & ReLoad," it would had gone down as one of the best hard rock albums ever.

I was almost 18 years of age when this was taking place and could not obtain news fast enough from MTV about this tour every single week that summer. My friends and I were lucky enough to catch it on October 3, 1992 Pasadena Rose Bowl, it was completely sold out. I would do a lot of stupid things to be able to see the entire video of all four bands that day from beginning to end. Body Count, Motorhead, Metallica, Guns N Roses... then take a break and watch it again. That is how bad I want to go back and see that show. There was some intangible quality to Metallica with their self-titled album and GNR with their double album UYI that when together in summer of 1992 is indescribable. Individually they were already Godlike. Together though in these massive stadiums was beyond magical.
