This mask has no exhaust and seemingly no available option to purchase such a feature. Some users might have trouble breathing due to that fact.

There is an exhaust between the two filters. When you breathe out it lets air out but when you breath in it plugs itself so only air comes in through the filter. However I do find this mask hard to breathe through so i prefer the p100 3M mask a lot. Also the 3M mask is easier to take on and off, and more comfortable to dangle half off

Does it only take protect against particulates? Does it protect against say fumes from paint burning if your welding? Also is there a Respirator that will protect against that that fits under a welding hood

This one fits under my hood. I use it for the dust and fumes but it's best to research the capabilities of the filters you buy

It does not protect against fumes or vapors. There’s another kind of filter with an additional layer of carbon that helps with odors and fumes but this still doesn’t help with vapors. GVS and miller have other models of respirators. The miller LPR-100 OV is a step above this. Filtering paint fumes and vapors. GVS has something similar and another step up on that one. Nothing really ridiculously priced either. Looking into the miller LPR-100 OV to make sure it fits under the hood. Might look into the GVS models as well but they seem a bit bulkier.

The wiring is minimum gauge. It needs to be 3-4X thicker (14-12 gauge). 'Code' wiring in home construction is the same. My brother and I helped our late Father wire our family's home with 10 gauge cable instead of the measly 'Code' wiring. He also used high grade PVC piping for cold water, and copper for hot.

Never said anything to him about it, just fixed it when it was acting up and moved on. Good employee no need to get upset with them over equipment failures

@@metalwerx3717 the first one I ordered wasn't flex neck, the second had spade connectors instead of an amphenol. I could probably just pin it into an amphenol connection, but that would be another process, another order, and another chance to get the wrong one. The Amazon store I ordered from has several different guns to choose from, but it's a copy/paste description for each one, lol. Description starts off like: Per usually fits select for Lincoln welder blah blah blah. Gonna check your link, didn't think to do so before. The flex neck is my last resort before pulling the engine out of this Veloster to reach a broken manifold stud.
