I've still got this vinyl album from 1974. Leon was my all time favorite artist. I only got to see him once. Thanks for the great tunes Leon.

Great song. Set me back on my path to Christ in the midst of a shit storm. Started off as my go to end of the night song when I’d be drunk and ripped of powder n pills. Then the message really sank in and I left that all behind to start a family. Haven’t looked back. Thanks for posting.

I don't really like this version. I think he could of done a better job. His mistake was not keeping the song, the vocals, very simple.

Get your motor runnin' Head out on the highway Lookin' for adventure And whatever comes our way Yeah, darlin', go make it happen Take the world in a love embrace Fire all of your guns at once and Explode into space I like smoke and lightnin' Heavy metal thunder Racin' with the wind And the feelin' that I'm under Yeah, darlin', go make it happen Take the world in a love embrace Fire all of your guns at once and Explode into space Like a true nature's child We were born, born to be wild We can climb so high I never wanna die Born to be wild Born to be wild Get your motor runnin' Head out on the highway We're lookin' for adventure And whatever comes our way Yeah, darlin' go make it happen Take the world in a love embrace Fire all of your guns at once and Explode into space Like a true nature's child We were born, born to be wild We can climb so high I never wanna die Born to be wild Born to be wild
