How do you disable Training Centre in TSW5 ,i dont know where to change it

Quick question, why when I try to download the deluxe edition that I’ve already brought it still says free starter pack?

lol I had to see it earlier. I just bought the deluxe edition, to upgrade from ps4 to PC, because it gives you more routes and it is just €20 more expensive than the starter. But I like it

i connected my mouse to train sim world 5 but it isnt working only my keyboard is, it works on other games though? i don't know how to fix this

I downloaded the Free Starter Pack for PS5 to see if I could get the hang of it and a route map that was on sale until 06/01/25 in the PS Store - Ambergate, Chinley & Buxton which is local to me, although I understand the map is set circa 1920’s. I work in a quarry that has rail sidings and these are serviced by EWS Class 66 locos nowadays. Not much interest in the other routes except maybe the Midland Mainline - Derby, Nottingham & Leicester as it’s also local but set in a more recent timeframe.

HI Very new to this- just downloaded training. But my mouse is difficult to use, jumping about very quickly. Sliders virtually impossible to use. Any suggestions on tyoe of mouse or settingsI should use? Thanks

Thank you for your content which I find very informative, I’ve downloaded the starter pack for train sim world 5. I can see my previous downloads of the trans Pennines route but seem to have lost my north wales route of Llandudno to Crewe, should I still have this, if so what must I do to get it back. Am I right in saying that if I am interested I one route and one train, it’s possible just to download that content, London to Milton Keynes , pendolino for example from Steam

I Just do not have the your collection thing on the menu page I think I have the free pack because I didn't bought anything and I don't want to buy them but I just don't know how to play it rightly and having free roam. Can you help me?

When i installed TSW 5 Starter Pack on PS5, none of my previous routes from TSW 3 were available... Disappointed, so i guess you have to buy either Srandard or Deluxe Edition to be able to bring your previously purchased routes with you?

id say, get the free starter pack and individual routes on sale, except for: - southeastern hs1, schnellfahrstrecke kassel - würzburg (that german route) or cajon pass, get tsw3 standard edition and you'll get all three routes for the price of one and yiu can use them in tsw5 too (even if you only want one, it's better to get all three if you ever want it in the future or of you are ever bored and want to play something different) - east coast main line, antelope valley line, or s-bahn, exact same thing as above but tsw4 standard edition - bakerloo line, get tsw2 standard edition, the steam website doesnt list what comes with tsw2, but tsw2 standard is actually cheapee than the bakerloo line dlc by about £10

it's a pity that the game is for money, so I would have liked to have it

There are also the Regional packages which is how I started. Basically just the Training Centre and a route - in the UK regional it is the WCML London Euston to Milton Keynes route. I have no particular interest in running trains from outside the UK and will only be collecting the British DLC myself.

It is the "apostrophe" key. 😉 The comma is next to the M key. Incidentally, when referring to something that is possessed by a noun, we use the possessive apostrophe. So it is beginner's guide - and if you are using the plural, beginners, then it will be beginners' guide. You can, in fact, avoid all this by using the term beginner guide. The English language has so many tricks to catch us out. I play TSW5 on the XBox series S so the keys aren't a worry for me but it would be nice to have extra buttons for useful things like the various camera modes you have on a PC.

Have you considered doing a video on Train Sim World 5 versus Train Simulator Classic 2024? I can only afford to commit to one "franchise", and I'm torn which one to go for (the sheer amount of content available for TSC looks very tempting tbh).

I think I’m gonna get the special edition but on sale. I was originally thinking of getting the deluxe, but since the price of NY-Trenton OR London Underground would bring you to the price of the special edition, I’m thinking of just going for the special edition since I think I’ll buy at least one of those (and maybe the London overground too). And even if there’s a 50% sale, the NY-Trenton and London Underground together would still add up to the price of special edition. So with special, I’m able to get all those but I’ll wait for a sale. Curious what you think of that plan. Also, when would you expect the first sale to be? I’m thinking it might be around new years so I’m prepared to wait. How much are the sales usually?

I just came here to see how shadows actually is generated on this tsw5- route before I buy this. I got TSW5 for free because I own TSW4 but I hate old route shadow draw distance. In distance there's no shadows and they just appear there. Rail shadows is only like 30 meters ahead and all tree foliage is green in distance and they turn orange later if date is autumn. This looks good, but I like most old British lines like West Somerset, Tees valley and Northern trans Pennine which I own but in those I have to put full overcast weather just to prevent shadows.

Ah! I always had doubts about how developers could be so generous. 😅

My game is lagging

You are my hero, years trying to figure out what the minimal simple and normal hud means without realizing the simple one moves you the gradient and speed limit to the top left. and tells your current objective. Again you are my hero. Now the game is more enjoyable thx!

Thanks for the video and the information. I did start to watch their video, but soon found that I could not understand anything after the first few seconds, seemed strange to start in English for a few seconds, them all German. I am still playing it and enjoying it, the pedestrians are getting to be a pain in the backside though as it seems they are constantly walking out in front of my tram, or walking into the side of my tram. Then I get the finger waving at me telling me off, I am tempted to turn them off, if possible in the settings, must check. Thanks again.

Yes I love the concept of this game but it is unplayable with so many bugs and crash. I hope the new update will work well…

One thing that I have found a pain, if you delete a route the points that you paid for it are not refunded.

Thanks for your video. I had been thinking about getting this game since it's release because for some reason I liked the look of it, even though I have played at least two other Tram games and not enjoyed them much. I finally got it two or three weeks ago when I noticed it was in a sale. I don't know what it is, but I do enjoy playing this Tram game. I do curse it when it says I have done something wrong and I know I haven't. And there are several times when I am not sure if something is a bug or not. But all things considered I enjoy this more than I did the other Tram games I played. And when I make a mistake, or it says I have and I haven't, I just carry on going because I am still enjoying it, mistakes and all, But like you, I do hope they start sorting the bugs out so that we can enjoy it even more.

Well we don't get all our DLC packs that we've paid for over the last 4 years when trying to import everything over to TSW5. Massive fail and complete con from DTG asking the players to re-download and re-purchase. Total waste of time. Do you actually know this is what was happening on launch day?
