This is amazing! How much do these cost and where do we purchase them? Also, Is that a full frame sensor inside? What are the specs? Megapixels etc? I would love if these big brand camera companies would start making digital full frame cameras that fit in my pocket. Like the Olympus xa, Ricoh GR, contax t2 etc. 😎👍

Very interesting but I totally disagree with the initial comments, that film shooting is obsolete. There is a wide range of films still available and new films are being launched. Kodak has re-introduced it’s marvelous E100D Ektachrome for stunning slides. No digital image of a rather primitive cmos sensor can substitute the unique look and feel of real film, but of course, it is an option for a totally different way of taking pictures. But it does not make film shooting obsolete!

Von Leica gab es vor 20 Jahren für die Leica R Kameras tatsächlich für kurze Zeit ein Digital Umrüst-Kit mit neuer Rückwand. Das war ein 10 Mpx CCD Sensor. Gute Idee, hatte sich aber leider nicht durchgesetzt.

I do think this does look like a great thing to do to a old film camera being I know most older generations grew up with film cameras and plus some people do love the film look if it have been part of their childhood or young adult years

Hier sollte man aber anmerken, dass man diese Vorgangsweise NICHT bei Lithiumionen Akkus anwenden darf. Als Stromspender zum wiederbeleben eines Akkus sollte man auch keine "gesunde" Akkuzelle verwenden, da das für die Lebensdauer schlecht sein kann. Ein wiederbelebter Akku wird auch nicht mehr viel leisten, deshalb sollte man keinen guten Akku dafür in "Lebensgefahr" bringen.
