Transcript, norwegian: [Musikk] Melding på høyttaler: Gi beskjed til sjefen: Vi er klar til å dykke på bro. [Musikk] Reporter: Vi befinner oss ombord i ubåten KNM "Uredd" utenfor Haakonsvern. Foruten besetningen er også et lag med marinejegeraspiranter ombord. Mannskap: [Diskusjon/instruksjon] Reporter: Bare noen ytterst få av aspirantene har klart å komme seg gjennom den beinharde treningen. Og søvn er noe man stjeler når anledningen byr seg. Oppdraget i dag går ut på å la seg sluse seg ut av ubåten. Deretter må de svømme flere kilometer under vann for å drive oppklaring uten å bli oppdaget. Mannskap: [Diskusjon/instruksjon] Reporter: Som marinejeger kan man ikke ha klaustrofobi. For å komme seg ut må de først klatre opp i ubåtens tårn. Så blir den nedre luken stengt. Og først når kammeret er fyllt med vann, kan de åpne tårnluken og fortsette ferden. Mannskap: [Diskusjon/instruksjon] Reporter: Bare tanken på å bli innesperret i et vannfyllt rør virker ikke særlig fristende for noen av oss. Men dersom marinejegerene er nervøse, så skjuler de det godt. Reporter: Er det like jævelig som det ser ut til, å være inne dette røret? Marinejegeraspirant: Nei. Det er veldig greit egentlig. Du blir vant til det. Reporter: Du har ikke klaustrofobi? Marinejegeraspirant: Nei, har ikke oppdaget det ennå, i hvertfall. I had the pleasure of going to Andoya in the 80's with A-10's around the time that GhostBusters came out. I remember partying in town. I saw some P-3's while there.

Excellent video! I was a U.S. Naval Aircrewman on P-3C Orion's from 1990-1995. Specifically, I was the inflight ordnanceman and the inflight photographer. How long ago was it that you flew over the Russian submarine? Thanks.

I was P-3 aircrew out of NAS Barbers Point. I used to love to fly as an observer on DFW. DFW stands for "Dedicated Field Work" IIRC, but we used to call it "Dedicated Fuel Waste" being the comedians we aircrewmen are. Anyway, on such a flight I would stand in the cockpit and it is the coolest feeling ever as the plane approached the runway for landing. I've never surfed, but I imagine that the feeling is the same. You just feel like you're floating as the plane is descending.

Despite some incredible new Falcons coming from the factory over the last three decades like the 900B, 900LX, 7X and so on, the 20 is still my all time favourite!! What a beautiful bird!
