Wow, well written! I didn't expect a dose of hope outta nowhere

I think I spend more time building blueprints than the actual factory :D For example, you can cram 8 foundries and their belts in a single blueprint. Even made variants for same-side or opposite-side I/O belts. I also made a manufacturer blueprint that includes a constructor, of which all the inputs and outputs connect nicely to a main bus line containing all resources. This main bus line obvious also uses a bunch of blueprints, like stackable busportals, splitter/mergers that go up or down to avoid clipping conveyor belts, and stackable belt intersections that either split or merge. (Imagine 9 belts side by side, 4 layers of belts, not single belt phasing through another as they either split in or merge from 3 directions , all in a single blueprint...)

Hard drive retrieval is such an awful part of this game but you can't do shit without certain recipes so you have to do it. Also you can't get all the inventory slots unless you basically get every hard drive out there.

If nobody sees the clipping mess i made, there is no mess.

Check out Serisak's swamptopia challenge run if you're unfamiliar. In his circumstance, biocoal is his *only* source of coal. It's pretty niche, but at least there's a *some* use for the recipe. Unlike some of the others.

And here I am being proud of my 10 per minute nuclear pasta factory. Well done!

In my total 258 hours of playing this game I think I have started like 5 different saves. Every time I am really motivated to build something insane and cool looking but when I reach oil, plastic and rubber I always somehow loose all my motivation to do anything at all and than quit the game for the next 5 months. It would be so God damn nice to have a friend that could play with me and build factories together but no one I asked wants to play the game like me.

But I got a couple questions if you dont mind: When scanning harddrive, the choices that comes up are they random combination of recepies or will the 3 recepies that come up always be grouped together on each play through? Is there enough hard drives to get every recepie ? If you see 2 recepies popping up you want, if you chose one, do you have a chance to get the other further down the line ?

Uranium fuel unit is the best and i use it in every one of my nuclear setups. That way, when 1.0 is released, I get to completely redo the most complicated factories I have.

Never really realized that I share this kind of thought, which is why I love open-world-building games. Because I value the freedom to build and control whatever I like, the freedom of building my imagination into a (virtual) reality. From The Sims, Cities: Skylines, Roller Coaster Tycoon, Satisfactory, and the list goes on.
